Saved a BUNCH of cash!!
By S. D. Curtis
I could hardly believe the price quoted for the motor and inducer wheel, which I purchased together. I have a Bryant/Carrier 395BAWC furnace, circa 1987, and the inducer motor was starting to go.In short, I couldn't be happier with this product and seller. I saved a ton of money by not calling a service technician, or purchasing the entire inducer housing unit, which costs about $300.My furnace is about 15 years old, and had original equipment. Removing the old unit was a piece of cake, though I needed to cut the old blower wheel off with a hack saw, as the allen wrench would not budge it. Even with that, replacing the motor and blower wheel was a snap... The motor comes with two wiring harnesses, one of which was for my furnace. The new motor is much quieter than the old one, and I've had it installed for about a month now, and have no complaints. I am not a handyman, electrician or HVAC guy, and this was a snap... From start to finish we're talking 45 minutes to an hour.Highly recommended, 5 stars.

was quoted $600 to replace this motor by ARS and ordered and installed myself for 100. Will never overpay ARS again

Works great, easy to put it in
By Derrill Perrier
I put this into my carrier furnace and it works great. Has been running in a Canadian prairie winter for 4 months now and not a problem. Make sure you order the gaskets and I advise you order the squirrel-cage fan too. My fan was seized and I had to cut the shaft on the old motor to remove the old motor from the mounting shield.
