Carpenter/avena 10-inch mattress

We have a queen Avena in our motor home and love it. It was purchased at CampingWorld in Las Vegas. It is comfortable we get a great nights sleep and we felt wegot a superior product for the $$ spent. We are now looking to replace our mattressat our home and are considering an Avena there also. We currently have a "many yearold" sleep number in our home but have found the Avena in our MH to be a betterproduct-so we are shopping.

The dog does not appear to have gotten on the counter. I don't know if she got zapped or not. The wife and grand son both did. Use with care, the grandson is too young to know what happened but the spouse just gets angry at you.

The description notes that this isn't for doorways, but we bought it to put in front of a sliding closet door that the cats put their paws under in the night and rattle to get our attention. It has worked wonders! I highly recommend it for a good night's sleep.

Scatstrip Training Mat

This is a great tool to teach your animals not to enter a place for their safety. A gentle shock, like when you rub your feet on the carpet and get a shock as you touch someone. My cat knew when I put it up across the tv (where he always jumped up). He jumped up and jumped off immediately and never did it again. He stretches to touch it with his paws to check it out, but he never jumps up! It is wonderful. Love this product.

A great tripod for traveling. Easily supports my Canon EOS with a 28-300mm lens which is quite heavy. Well made. Adjustments stay where you put them. The quick release, which is included, is very handy. Also great for high power binoculars.

Very sturdy

This is a very sturdy tripod. I like it because it is capable of holding an old, heavy film camera in place even at odd angles without moving.The tripod is a bit heavier than I expected, but the weight listed is correct - I just didn't have an accurate idea in my head of how much that is.Overall, I am satisfied with this tripod, but if you are looking for a very portable tripod (say for tourism purposes), the weight of this one might be a bit heavy.

Lightweight Pro Quality Alternative to Manfrotto

I was recommended this tripod combo by a professional camera store sales person (a professional photographer himself). At first, I was considering Manfrotto. However, the price for a lightweight, international travel-friendly Manfrotto tripod was way out of my budget as I was also investing in additional lenses and camera travel gear. Btw, I shoot with a Canon 5DMII and have 3 L's (24-105, 70-300, 50 1.2) and a Tokina 11-16.When the sales person showed me this tripod, the first thing that came to mind was "solid quality", the second "lightweight", third "compact size" and fourth "good looking". I completely forgot about the low price point compared to a Manfrotto of similar quality! Then reality set in and I realized that this tripod was perfect for me! I've owned this tripod since July 2010. It's performed over and over without fail or disappointment. The ball head has not given in to wear and tear - it still works perfectly. The rubber parts still look and function perfectly! The foam parts are in perfect condition. I'm struggling to find a negative point, but can't think of any yet!I should also note, that I bought a Black Rapid RT1 and it fits with the BHQ11 ball head plate. The RT1 stays permanently on the plate now and attaches to my Black Rapid strap as it was designed to do!Finally, I just decided to purchase a Joby Gorillapod Focus and plan to use the BHQ11 ball head / plate combo with my new Joby. Another review to come when that combo is tried, but I expect the Davies and Sanford BHQ11 to perform well just it has done on the Traverse tripod!Highly recommended combo set, especially for the price point!

Simple and comfortable slip-on sandals

Probably a little too late to be reviewing these sandals...but wanted people to know that OluKai makes a quality product. I hadn't heard of this brand before and took a chance on these...and I wasn't sorry. Very sturdy and comfortable with a clean, streamlined look...I enjoyed wearing these to the beach in the summer, and having them on-hand for when I simply need something on my feet to do something quick outside, they are always ready at the front door. No problems with fit (adjustable) and unlike some other slip-ons these stay on your feet...as long as you're not wearing socks. And really, if you're wearing socks with sandals you have bigger problems that I can't help you with.

This is a size 8. Slipper. I bought this one not knowing what the size was, i read all the documentation and it said all sizes. If you are a size 8, then this is an excellent slipper for you.

Nice Color, Stays Very Cool, but A Large, Heavy Bulb

This bulb gives good light and is a good color. However it is larger than I realized from the picture, and was too long to fit into my kitchen or outdoor light fixtures, so I had to return it. It is also somewhat heavy which may be an issue if it's in a hanging socket.

You've got to spend $ to save $

This light is quite expensive but if you figure out what you spend on electricity for a 75w incandescent bulb and how many of those bulbs you must buy in a lifetime this light is a steel. I live in Alaska where we pay the MOST per kilowatt than anyone in the nation AND I run off solar power so when I can buy an $80 light bulb that puts out the equivalent light as a 75w bulb but only draws 12w and runs for 35,000 hours it's a no brainer. This light gives you 360 degrees and is perfect for lighting up a whole room for example when you get up in the morning and just need enough light to be able to navigate around the house. I won't have to replace this bulb till I'm 75 and I am 37 now. This is an excellent product that is worth every penny.

Bright, Cool-White LED Light

This product produces a good, bright light using several "banks" of LEDs. The cool-white variety is as advertised: a nice "cool" white.This is a fairly large bulb. That may not be clear from the description. It is designed to fit well in many outdoor and industrial fixtures. I don't want to remove it to get an accurate measurement. Holding the tape measure beside it suggests that it is just under 7 inches in length, approximately, excluding the screw-part of the base. I'm sure the manufacturer can provide exact numbers, if this is a close fit for you.The light does have a slight flicker when it starts. That's unusual for an LED, in my experience. By observation, I theorize that it is the different LEDs firing up in sequence. It only lasts a second or less. It's not a problem in my situation, but I can see other cases where it might be annoying.

My grandmother has had the same curtains on the sliding door since I was born... And they are see through. She informed me they didn't make curtains that would fit her sliding door. I proved her wrong. This curtains are not only visually attractive, they are very well made and lined. They are perfect in every way. Especially the fit.

AWESOME draperies!

Sizing was dead on accurate, nice heavyweight draperies, arrived understandably with some wrinkles, but they hung out on their own within a day or two, which is a real test of the quality of fabric! They are not completely room darkening, but they block a good 75% of incoming light. Amazons description lists this as a "pair" of panels when in fact this is all one piece, a patio door panel as it should be, of the exact size listed.

I mix a tsp into a cup of hot water, honey and it goes down easy. It prevents muscle cramps. It is the only form of calcium that is safe to take, beware of oyster shell products.
