I am a experienced musician. I love the fender tone. I own two fenders a strat and a tele. The tele I have is a mexican and I was looking to fatten it up a bit. So I looked in. The alumitone pickups. I'm glad I did. In the words of kids today. Omg they are amazing. I have lace pickups althrough my strat. But I bought this alumitone humbucker it's like a whole new tele. Finally can reach the screaming telesounds I've been missing. Great bass, the midds are fantastic and when it comes to soloing slap on your tube screamer and let her sail cause whether you like it or not she will. Great investment!! Be ware if you have a tele with a single coil at the bridge that when you replacethe bridge plate you should probably have a perfesional look it up for you. Cause depending on models etc... they vary in width. And the string wholes won't line up after all said in done including the pickup and new bridge plate installed it cost me about 300 bucks all said and done. But totally worth it!!! So if you were thinking about an alumitone. I would say do it. Specially if you friends allhave priceier guitars you can show them that they payed to much for their signature piece of wood.
