Elegant and PERFECT!

I went to multiple local jewelers all of which were pricing similar tungsten rings at $300-$600... thankfully, I've read many a wedding blog (especially WeddingBee) and read that we could find them much cheaper on Amazon. Low and behold, this beauty for under sixty bucks. It came in and i love it! It looks simple and classic which was a nice contrast to my super fancy Tacori... See, I wanted a simple band I could wear when I didn't feel like flashing my two carat set in Tacori Platinum... and even side by side, they still look great next to eachother. Fits in with the fancy, but looks sweet solo! It's also really comfortable! What an awesome deal. OH but it does run big. I'm a 5.5 on a skinny day so of course i didn't listen to previous reviews and bought an 5.5 ... now I'm ordering a 5 (keeping the 5.5 in case i need it some day *ahem* come baby time! i mean really, it's only fifty five bucks!). Also, super fast shipping from Titanium Kay... i got it within like 2 days... maybe even 1!

Great Little Ring

This is a nice, narrow, band for somebody who really doesn't want a large band. The dome is not very tall, either. It's comfortable. Very easy to forget that you're wearing it, unlike some of the larger rings.The color is on the lighter side of tungsten carbide, but when placed right next to another, lighter metal, the tungsten appears darker. For instance, it's obvious that it's a different metal when placed next to white gold.The polish is great-- a VERY glossy mirror finish. If you want a matte ring, this is not the ring for you.It's a circle of tungsten carbide, 2mm in width. What more do I say about it? :-)

Has some issues you can fix

I bought this from Musician's Friends, and my son uses it. Out of the box, it did have some problems.The height is "locked" by tightening a collar with a plastic liner. Unfortunately, the plastic had no grip on the chrome even if I made it very tight. The chrome memory lock also slipped on the tube, so I suspect there's a little shipping grease on these. I degreased it, which helped a little, but it still slipped easily until I scuffed the plastic insert and the inside of the memory lock with some very fine sandpaper. I used 2000 grit auto finishing sandpaper I had in the house, and since the grit was so fine, I also scuffed the chrome tube a touch. The entire slipping fix took 5 minutes, and having thought about it a bit more, you could probably use a pot scrubber to accomplish what I did with the sandpaper, if that is something you have handy.As far as comfort, based on the description, I was expecting a soft top. It isn't soft. It's actually very firm foam with a little bit of soft memory foam over that. It's significantly harder than the DW5000 I was considering, and more like the DW3000 throne in firmness.Despite the slipping and the hard foam, I'm happy with this product now that I degreased and scuffed up the gripping surfaces. It's a solid throne for the price and it can be set very low for kids. However, my opinion is that you shouldn't have to modify something as simple as a drum throne in any way to make it work, so I would probably look elsewhere unless you need the low height.

Great Throne, Worth a lot more!

The Pearl D900 Throne is a tough drummers throne with great hardware on it. No joint to break apart, extra locking ring to keep seat from slipping. Memory foam seat is very comfortable. It's hard to believe the price on this. I would have expected it to be jumped up into the next price range for what you get. My students in Middle School Band should be able to use it for years before there are any problems with it.

awesome drum throne

I have been drumming for a number of years, and have had the same throne for all that time. I finally decided it was time for a new one and began to do some research into what is out there now. I had no idea that Pearl and other companies were making their thrones with memory foam now, and I was skeptical because I hate those beds. This thing is, however, outstanding. It takes a minute when you sit down on it for the foam to respond, but when it does, it is a VERY comfortable throne. Playing heavy, loud, and aggressive music, I needed something that was going to hold up to the punishment. This throne does. It has a very sturdy double bracket base and the double locking seat adjustment prevents any slipping of the seat, even under brutal conditions. Very much worth the price paid. I am very satisfied with this throne.

She definitely wanted a comfort fit after trying one out at the store. We then went online and began to look at the correct sizes and design she wanted. I'm glad we got this ring. Makes hair grow fast & fades gray!

I've been using this product for about two months now and really like it. I massage a few drops into my scalp at bedtime. It has thickened up my thinned out hair and seems to be diminishing the gray. I'm almost 59 and don't have 'visible' gray hair. Now, I have to look into a 10X magnifier glass to see the gray. Maybe given another couple of months, it will be gone altogether! :-) Just to make sure the 'gray hair' bases are covered, I have started taking PABA recently also. Recently as in within the past week.

Good, well-made costume

I bought this costume for my daughter for Halloween, and it worked really well. It's well-made and doesn't shed its plush like some other furry costumes. She is 37 inches tall and 32 lbs and it fit her nicely; not too big, not too snug. The top half is lined with satin so it's nice and warm. It was a bit confusing to get on the first time, though. She wasn't a big fan of the banana sewn to the right wrist, either. The bottoms of the feet are open with those elastic straps that run across from left to right, so you can put the costume on and then the shoes and it doesn't look stupid. And after a night of trick-or-treating, it's in good enough shape to be used again.

My chiropractor sells this in her office and recommends it to most of her patients. Most people need more magnesium. I like these portable portion-sized travel-packets. I have used this for leg cramps and menstrual cramps and back aches and it works great. Sometimes if I just need to relax enough to get a good sleep I will take it before bed too. A bit tricky - you have to dissolve/activate the powder in very warm(not hot) water and mix into 8oz liquid. I usually just dissolve the powder in an inch of warm water then fill the glass the rest of the way with cold juice or EmergenC to camoflauge the taste! It doesn't really have any flavor but still always makes me cringe and almost gag if I just mix it with water.

Received product in excellent condition as promised

I received my 2.5 mm wide gold wedding band today and was pleased at the way it looks and the perfect fit. It is exactly what I wanted. Not too wide to bother me, but tight enough so that it will not fall off. I had been wearing another band (I've been married 37 years) but have recently lost weight due to having a gastric lapband surgery. I've lost over 50 pounds and I didn't want to get the old band made 2 sizes smaller. Anyway I like this new band better. The old band was wider and had flat edges. The new band is rounded and it looks just like the band my mother wore for 60 years and was buried with her. I can recommend this wedding band for all. Be aware though that 2.5 mm is thin, which is what I wanted. I believe a standard wedding band would probably be 3 or 4 mm wide.

The glare problem is real

As others have said, the lamps from Serena D'italia are sturdy and stable, and beautiful, but (as a reviewer mentioned on another lamp) there is a glare problem that needs to be dealt with. Also, the sockets are kind-of cheap.When I tried to decide among several of the Tiffany-style lamps from Serena D'italia, not all of my questions were answered, so I'm going to try to answer them here. First of all, even though the official photo does not show pull chain switches on this calla lily lamp, this one does have them. Second, while every other part of the lamp feels like quality, the sockets don't. They twist, the chains don't always pull smoothly, and you have to hold the socket while you screw in the bulb. Unfortunately, it seems like ALL lamps are made with cheap sockets these days.Third, the bulbs on all Serena D'italia Tiffany-style lamps are mounted parallel to the floor, at right angles to the lamp pole. Because of this, if you're sitting at a certain level below the lamp, the shades are not long enough to shield your eyes from the bottom of the bulbs, as they should. (What is a shade for, anyway?)I really wanted to keep these lamps so I made a few adjustments to compensate for this. Ikea sells (or used to?) compact fluorescents that are two (medium)-long tubes instead the pigtail/corkscrew type, and that helped a little. You can also turn the lamp so that the bottoms of the bulbs are not quite as noticeable from where you're sitting. Then I took a pair of pliers (and a rag to protect the finish) and bent up the stems that hold the sockets away from the light pole. That helped the most.I uploaded two more photos to better show the shade detail. This colors of this lovely lamp are perfect for blue, green, and cool gray furnishings.

Our lamp arrived this week and it is beautiful. The base is heavy. Assembly was very easy. The lamp is a bit shorter than most floor lamps and this was exactly what we were looking for. Great value for the price.

Well constructed pet stroller with thoughtful features.

I have owned two pet strollers previous to this purchase, and have learned the hard way that I should have held out for the better one right from the start. This is an excellent pet stroller. It does not feel rickety or cheesy like my other dog strollers. It turns on a dime and is super smooth on pavement, cobblestones and grass. It is also taller than I expected. I am 5'4" and the handle reaches my ribcage, which makes it easy to hold on to. It took me a minute to get the "one handed fold" but I figured it out. It is not compact. This stroller takes up a big chunk of my passat wagon, but I do not mind at all. I wanted a durable stroller that would last, not another cheap one to throw away after the summer. I have two long haired chihuahuas. There was plenty of room and 360* viewing so they love it. I am not a jogger, but after an exhaustive search of available pet strollers, I chose this one for the smooth ride, the durable construction, and because I saw a video review on youtube that convinced me that it was a good investment. The only thing I would change is the color. There is only red. I would have liked something more understated like a nice green or light mango color. Aside from that, I highly recommend the pet gear jogger stroller.

The Pug Buggy!

On hot days, my pug Ginger drags. Unfortunately I'm also being dragged along by an airedale, JR. When Ginger starts dragging, I open up the back hatch and she jumps in... usually at a curb as it is a little high for her.I put a pillow inside for her to relax on. The ride, even over trails with tree roots and plenty of other bumps, is pretty comfortable. The brake for the back wheels works well and the single front wheel makes the pug buggy easy to move around. The front wheel swivels (like a shopping cart) but can be locked in the forward position. I would like to find a way to have water available inside but can't come up with an idea that won't splash around.The buggy opens from the top and front and a nice hatch in the back. There's also a nice storage compartment underneath. The cup holder is pretty useless and it would be nice to have a doggy bag pouch on the side.The buggy folds up but it is still a little bulky. You'll need a bit of space to stow it out of the way.The buggy feels sturdy and should last quite a few years. Ginger is only about 15 lbs and pretty small as pugs go. There's room for a larger dog in there.

Awesome Pet Stroller!

We've only had this stroller for about a weekend now but we have used it at least 4 times and it has been great!The only thing I would recommend for the manuf. to change is the cup holders! they are about 1 inch shallow and hold nothing but maybe some loose change. Okay, I take it back- I'd also have them redesign the undercarriage area- to make it easier to get to, harder for items in it to hit the front wheel and make a noise, and maybe so it could hold more.The instructions werent all that clear either- but easy enough to figure out. The instructions don't tell you how to attach the back wheel set to the stroller... and there was a loose screw floating around that luckily didnt go to anything :)In any case, that stroller has made it for miles thru the crazy crowds, narrow sidewalks and bumpy areas all over Athens, Greece... so you know it'll really be great for back home in the U.S. later on!We think its a godsend! Our dog is a long but small older model of dachshund/chihuahua and he just can't handle too long of a walk, traffic or crowds. He seems to love it and really enjoys watching ppl walk by...like his car rides but slower. :) Also it really helps us because, while he is only 20 lbs, we just can't carry him around and with his weird body shape this stroller seemed like the only one that he could fit in comfortably.Oh and it even fit in our tiny elevator- it says its a 4 person but that's 4 narrow ppl- so I was pleasantly surprised! No idea how it will fit in a car as we don't have one yet...Great all around stroller- very sturdy, roomy and practical! :D
