5Sounds like angels rockin out!
By P. Doherty
Sounds extraordinary, no matter how your guitar sounds now this will make it sound so much better. Isn't hard to install, solder two wires. Incidentally mine didn't have instructions (possibly an accident or maybe they just don't come with them) but a little online research was enough to get them on right. Also, on the technical side, if you are new to what lies inside your guitar like I was - not a professional or seasoned customizer - once you successfully attach the pick gaurd, you'll need to either lower your strings or raise the pickups. I raised the pickups, which in my humble, nearly novice experience, I suggest you do too. Lowering strings is difficult, complicated and might not even work anyway. Raising the pickups requires twiddling with a few screws. Some people would say 'do it by ear' and that's fine if you want to, otherwise the lace website gives exact distances between string and pickup for each position. I used this and was so happy with the sound I didn't tweak it all. Incidentally for measuring between strong and pickup you'll make it a lot easier if you get a feeler gauge (search it on amazon, they're really cheap) this helps you measure small gaps between string and pickup and get mm accuracy.OK sorry for lengthy tech stuff, I just thought it would be useful. Bottom line is you can do it, even if you never tried something like this before. And, most importantly, it is worth it. Unless your guitar came with some pretty amazing stock pickups (also I didn't even mention the improved wiring, the wires alone were about four times thicker than the ones I was taking out, it's harder to judge on the actual components but they seemed a lot better quality) even if you think you've got a pretty good sound, I bet this will blow you away. I won't waste anymore of your time trying to describe sounds in words, I'll just elaborate slightly on my initial description - imagine the subtlety, sublimeness and purity of the heavenly choir then give them a load of jack daniels and old blues records, maybe show them Brando in The Wild One and Nicholson in Easy Rider, give them distortion pedals that jack directly into their souls... you get the idea. :)

5It's the lace sensor
By Sherif Watson
The pick gaurd is well crafted it fits my strat perfectly It took me about 30 mins to install it , the hot gold is different than the original gold I had the gold in the neck pickup before but the hot gold is more brighter and the hot red is very good for overdriven tone not distortion it has much more gain than the red sensor and much noiseless but if you are into the high gain like metal stuff stay away it's not a high gain pickups it works well with my bluesy stuff it's not 100% noiseless it's a single coil pickup I like those bell tones so if you are into Eric Clapton , buddy guy tones go for it . Cheers
