FABULOUS

I shopped online for availability and prices on Maui Jim's. The quality of Maui Jim sunglasses is superior. They are worth every penny. The case and accessories have they same quality as well. The view of clarity and color is amazing. ORDERING from Amazon is far more superior that any other shop including eyesave.com. I am never disappointed by Amazon.

Maui Jim's are the best

I've purchased Maui Jim's before, and can say they are the best sunglasses I've ever had. I unfortunately lost 2 pairs, and bought cheap glasses, with fancy names on them, but they do not protect your eyes. I am having Lasik surgery a a couple of weeks, and want to protect my investment and my vision.Also, you cannot find a better guanrantee than the Maui Jim brand. Some how the lense fell out on a previous pair, I called the company, they were very helpful, and told me to mail them back. I sent them back on a Friday, and by Monday a brand new pair was delivered to me. They do cost more, but they are worth every penny. For value, style, and product integrety, Maui Jim is thebest. The Long Board style works for men or women.

Amazing!

11/14/11 I was never a sunglasses type of person but my wifey bought me these about a year ago and boy am I greatful! I was hardcore into "SPY" sunglasses but after using these I will never go back to anything else. Maui's are top quality in my books and being from Sunny Los Angeles they are great with the sun. Forget Gucci/Dolce Gabban and all that crap people buy to impress people they don't like, but hey if you like to throw away your money go for it. If you like to protect your vision for the long haul you will never go wrong with Maui. As for me, I will be sticking to this brand for the rest of my life! I also found out I can return them to the manufacture if they get scratched withing 2 years of purchase and they will replace, no questions asked. I will be inquiring this week to verify. If so, even more brownie points for this company. BTW, I also bought some pricey REVO's (have them in my drawer collecting dust) but Maui still takes 1st place :) Happy Shopping!

An excellent find!

These Timberland Pro Series work boots are not only rugged and sturdy, but they are true to size and attractively styled. No foot soreness or leg fatigue when worn all day at work. As a stationary building engineer, my job is very physically demanding. On any given day I might need to walk up and down between 5-30 flights of stairs for drills or electrical testing. I need a boot that can keep up as well as look good when meeting with tenants or property managers. This boot should be standard issue work gear!

Great boot

I work in a Steel Mill and around extreme heat for 8-12hrs a day. My first set of boots made it a year before the seems started to split (minor stitching problem - Timberland replaced that pair at no cost). These boots are really comfortable from day 1 and the sole of the boots seem as if they will wear forever. The original set of boot laces lasted 10 1/2 months so I replaced them with leather laces and they lasted 1 month (wish I could find the original set for sale somewhere). To make a long story short - If you are looking for a boot to keep your feet protected, be comfortable from day 1, run true to size, withstand abuse from your job and be reasonably priced then you have found your boot.

When I ordered this item I was expecting it to look like the picture. When I received the item I was surprised and disappointed; it was tiny (I wasn't sure what 14.0 mm would be) and it was plain white gold - no enamel stars and stripes in color - just a plain surface. I contacted the CleverSilver folks and they were very helpful and accommodating. They explained that the catalog number was wrong and that they had a 17.0x17.5mm, in stock and in full color. I returned the incorrect item and with the payment of the price differential I received exactly what I wanted in the first place. There was no problem getting full credit for the returned item, and the whole matter was resolved quickly and completely satisfactorily. I am very pleased with the full color 17.5x17.0 mm flag lapel pin.

It is not waterproof

Nice boots, but sole not that comfortable

The first day I got these boots I put them to the test. I stepped in mud all the way up to the 2nd buckle, no leaks to the inside. I then hosed them off and everything washed of and still no leaks to the inside, shoe laces were drenched though(waterproof). Next day I went up into the attic and stepped on a couple nails, they didn't go through, I also didn't apply my full body weight, but a good 3/4 of it. The shoes have nice "ladder lock" when I was going up the ladder I felt a better grip. I saw an oil spill on my neighbor driveway, and decided to walk on it and see the grip. Nice grip, but NOTHING can stop the slip of nice oil stain. It gripped decently, but there was some slippage nothing drastic though. Was like a puddle of oil to be fair to the shoes. (neighbor can't change car oil very well apparently)Now for the reason I took a star off. These are NOT the most comfortable shoes. The inside sole could be softer, but there is enough space to add a gel sole, which will definitely help. What you CANNOT remedy is these shoes get pretty warm inside. My toes were not liking it. Now if your used to shoes/boots then you might disagree. I wear sandals 70% of the time.Other then that these boots are good for heavy-duty work. My Step-Father has these and he said one of his cows stepped in his toe while wearing these boot, and he his foot was fine.

Quality with little compromise

Searched months to find the ultimate hiker-style boot for heavy-duty yard work and general wear. Boots had to offer at least waterproof properties and a safety toe. Tried Chippewa IQ- 6" Composite Toe #55161 but found them lacking for reasons explained in my review for them. Also considered Timberland PRO Titan Trekker #53526's but ordered a pair of these Timberland PRO #85520's for not much more money and have found them to be keepers.Besides the safety toe and attractive, rich-brown color of the waterproof leather upper and membrane, the boots feature metal lace eyelets and the speed loops even have alternative lace holes not apparent on images. And because of the full grain leather upper, I expect these boots will clean easy with a splash from the garden hose. I frankly prefer the more aggressive sole of the Chippewa's to assist on hills but this boot's rubber sole also seems durable. Vibram soles like those offered on Red Wing 6674's would have been ideal. Have read of complaints about the sole separating from some Timberland Pro's and cracking but time will tell whether that's an issue. Also like the bumpers on the toe and back. Boots feel neither light nor heavy and unlike the Chippewa's, these boots don't feel loose as they have a fourth loop toward the toe box. Rather than mittens, the boots feel like gloves.

I work in a shop with coolant and the boots hold up to that. Tread is lasting which has always been my problem. Laces busted right away but it won't stop me from buying again.

best boots i have ever owned

these boots perform admirably in the aircraft hanger i work in, they stay stuck to the floor even in sky-draul, engine oil, jet fuel..... they work equally well in mud and snow. ice is a bit touch and go. some waterproofing goo and your feet will be dry and comfortable all day, or in my case night long. only gripe is that they squeak on tile, concrete and hardwood, and its loud. but i can live with that.

pretty bracelet

Good purchase

I gave these as a gift. Here's the recipient's comments: I have worn the boots approx 4 times where I have actually donesome walking for a significant amount of time. They do have to be broken in.The first time I wore them the steel toes were uncomfortable but afterthe 3rd time wearing them, the toes were much more comfortable. Thefirst time I actually wore them all day to work and did a lot ofwalking, my one heel almost developed a blister. Thisalso passed after the initial discomfort. Right now, I'm not lacingthem all the way up until they are broken in a bit more....the tops arestiff when laced and irritate my ankles. That will pass. In short,they are a lot more comfortable now and they are very warm. Also,they are very well made -- should last a long, long time. Havereceived comments from several of the guys here at work about theirlooks and where I got them. I couldn't be more pleased with them --It was a great gift...
