These are very strong broad range speakers. The low end is so good I have decided that I do not need to add a subwoofer after installing these Fusion speakers. The high end is rather directional so point them where you are sitting.

This device has all the ability to perform light readings and log all of your findings. It is the latest greatest gadget, right? Extech does not have a driver that works with anything after "Windows XP" and do not know when they will. This does not work on my system, "Windows 7" how about yours? It's a waste of money if it cannot work on our computers. It's a great device but it will not interface with current tech!

For a chair that is rated to hold a person up to 450lbs I would expect some padding in the seat. I am not that heavy but even I throw a pillow down on the seat before I get in the chair. Come on guys, I know its an inexpensive chair, but know your target market ... us big guys need some cushioning!

Great Chair!

I purchased this for my 6 foot tall daughter who has 5 children & is needing to get in & out of her computer chair too many times to count! She absolutely loves it, says it's so sturdy, wheels easily & by far more comfortable than any chair she's ever had. Other interested readers should know when it is delivered at your doorstep, it's a VERY heavy box, so be aware if you have to carry the box up stairs, it will take 2 of you. By the way, she says it is not difficult to assemble.

the best office chair ever

This is the best office-type chair I ever sat in: I've been working in offices since 1961, so this assessment ought to count for something. My only two complaints are these: (1) you have to assemble the chair yourself, and it wasn't particularly easy; I hired a handyman to do this for me; and (2) when I bought the chair from this site at the end of Sept., it was advertised for, and I paid, only [...] for it (including shipping); it shipped from an entirely different seller. If this were today, I would not be buying this chair for so much more money. However, I'm a large person, and I was looking for a chair that would support my weight and be comfortable too. This chair is rated for 600 pounds. Hard to beat!

Solid piece of furniture

Finally a storage piece that doubles as a coffee table, extra seating, and my cats and dog won't destroy! It's heavy and a bit bulky, but it can easily be put in a hall as a place to put shoes on, in a living room as a coffee table replacement, at the foot of a bed for storage and easy trays for breakfast in bed. It's got a lot of uses. In my house, it's a comfy place to put up my feet, store games and blankets and hold onto the TV remotes. We always leave one tray flipped over so there's a spot for a coffee cup to sit where my zoo of animals won't easily knock it over as they zoom around the house.

Expectations Met

Space in my home goes for a premium. I am always on the look for quality multi-functional pieces, this ottoman/table/storage unit met those needs.-----PROS:Stitching; this was the reason why I selected this storage ottoman over others on the market. The stitching prevents the top cushion from holding indentations after you get up. I have seen others without the stitching and they can seem pretty worn where the feet would be propped up. And, as a personal preference, I think the stitching on the base and cushions give it a more expensive look.Color; as the description states; espresso, the shade shows really well against color and will go darker or lighter depending on rug/sofa/walls.-----CONS:Center tray; the base is a little wider in the center causing the center tray to sometimes slip. I find this happens more often when using the tray function (cushion facing down). I am sure this can be remedied by placing something in the interior for the cushion to "sit" on and prevent it from slipping off the inner ledge.Legs (the only assembly required); it would be nice if the manufacture had pre-drilled the holes. The wood is soft enough that you don't need a drill, but it was a little bit of a pain trying to line them up evenly so that the screws would keep the legs tight to the base.-----For the price, I think it looks a lot better than others I have seen in its range.All-in-all the ottoman met my expectations.

Easy one-hand operation, performance matching other Extech meters

The meter is very easy to operate one handed. The function select thumb wheel is much easier to operate than the selector on my Extech EX470. All of the buttons are reachable with your thumb. The focus is on the clamp meter so 4 selector positions are dedicated to the 2 AC and DC clamp amperage ranges. The thermocouple ("temp") setting gets its own position while all of the other functions are packed into two positions on the wheel: One for the ohmmeter, diode tester, capacitance meter and continuity tester, and one for the AC/DC voltmeter and frequency counter/duty cycle. The default modes are ohmmeter and DC volts. The additional functions are cycled with the "mode" button. Although this is a general purpose meter, one of the non-clamp type meters offers quicker access to functions like the cap meter. The non-contact voltage detector is always available in any mode.The max/min feature is handy for making "blind" measurements since the unit will hold the maximum and minimum measured values taken while it is enabled. This allows you to reach into a corner with the clamp meter (or the probes) and take a reading without contorting to see the display. It doesn't work with auto-ranging, though, so be sure to select a range manually first or you may find max says 0L (overflow).The non-contact voltmeter flickers constantly in any mode, becoming solid when the tip of the clamp is near an AC voltage. It is definitely possible to distinguish the random flickering from a solid signal, but the flickering makes it tedious to use to trace wires in walls, where a sharper on/off indication would be helpful.The ohmmeter and voltmeter have the same slow, confusing auto-ranging as my Extech EX470. While it searches for a range the display will show intermediate values and only the stabilization of the result lets you know it is done.The continuity meter has changed since the EX470. The 470 beeper was just tied directly to the probes, making noise for exactly as long as they were in contact, leading to a screechy sound. The MA640 now has a minimum beep time, but also a minimum continuity time before the beep starts. Compare that to my favorite continuity meter, the Fluke 10, which has a minimum beep time for any contact. You can drag the probes of the Fluke across many pins and rely on hearing a clear beep if you brush anything connected to the other probe. The MA640 is more pleasant sounding than the EX470 but possibly even less useful. You can literally strike the probes against each other without a sound.The clamp meter seems accurate but I have only employed it at fairly low amperages and mostly on DC. Be sure to hit "REL" to zero out the DC measurement before starting.The included probes are the same as other Extech meters I've seen. The quality is good but not great. There are protective caps and room to store them in the included case. The thermocouple is a type-K with a bead (rather than a pointy probe). The blue tube securing the end of the thermocouple insulation did not survive a 300C environment I measured.The backlight is white and plenty bright. There is no stand and the back of the meter is rounded. That makes it comfortable to hold but difficult to prop up. Maybe you can hang it by the clamp when using it on a desk.

Nice clamp meter

I've spent years getting by with only probe meters but kept finding a need for a clamp meter. I was looking for a true RMS meter and settled on this one. I've used it many times since buying it and it works very well. Not much to add regarding the details that other reviewers haven't already covered. For measuring current of household devices, make sure you get an Extech 480172 AC Line Splitter or similar device. Extech products have been good for me.

I purchased the ODST's in a set of three, this being one of them. The package was in great condition, no dings or dents. Although the right wrist was cracked, not sure if this was through my own fault or not, this didn't affect anything and isn't really noticeable. This ODST comes with the Shotgun and Dual Pistols along with the drop pod. The pieces were easy to assemble and everything was there, no missing pieces.(I know lego and mega bloks have a rep for not having all the pieces)All in all, this was a great purchase and would make any Halo fan happy.

Also, the striking end of these matches is much larger. Rugged Weather-Tight Well-Designed Doggie Door

We installed this Freedom Pet Pass small dog wall door in early September 2012. It has worked very well for us and is everything the manufacturer claims. It really is air tight and closes securely every time. The design allows for a lot of installation flexibility so you can match your existing home interior and exterior. I decided to hire someone to install it. He took one look at the unit and said, "piece of cake". It took him less than two hours to cut the hole, frame, install, trim, and paint it. The door appears to be well designed and ruggedly built, especially compared to other dog doors I've seen. I have no trouble believing that it will last for years. It is wonderful that our dog can now go to the back yard whenever he wants without our having to either leave the back door open (not the most energy efficient or bug free option) or open and close the door for him.On the minus side, the door came with no instructions. (I'm not sure if that was a shipping issue or if they really don't ship with instructions.) The manufacturer's web site had minimal instructions. More detailed help can be found from customer reviews and tutorials. I printed out everything I could find for my installer. However, he only needed the installation dimensions.There is one downside to this door's design. It takes about twice the effort for a pet to open the door when going outside than it does going inside. If you look at the outside picture of this door (included at this Amazon page at the time I submitted this review) you can see the tan door flap which swings both in and out. It looks like it has a black frame around it. Actually, that black frame is a second flap which only swings out. Its purpose is to prevent air and rain from getting through the sides of the tan flap and it does a very good job of this. However, when a pet goes out of the house he has to move both the tan flap and the black seal. This is a challenge for my small 12 pound dog. He has no problem coming into the house but he struggles going out. Our dog quickly learned to come into the house but it took us over a month to train him to go out. He apparently doesn't like to push the door open with his head. Instead, he paws at the door. When it opens he keeps pawing at it to keep it open but it usually takes him many tries before he succeeds. I've seen him take over a minute to get out of the house.The locking security panel (which is shown in the Amazon picture at the top of this page but isn't mentioned in their description) is slightly awkward to side into place. You can order this door from Amazon without the security panel for a lower price on another page. I'm not sure there's much need for the security panel with a small door since only a very small child (even smaller than Oliver Twist) could get through it. I got it so I wouldn't have to worry about local wildlife (raccoons and opossums) getting in when we are away.Everything considered, we are very happy with this Freedom Pet Pass door.

Great SPD pedal

I moved from Crank Bros Candy X's to the Shimano on my new Cervelo. I'm 140lbs and had to adjust clip-out all the way negative, still a bit tight but I'll get used to it. Clip-in is smooth and easy as they are well balanced, resting @ 12-6 toe at noon for easy clip-in while on the go.The Cranks had 6-10 degree float, the Shimano's feel like 3 degrees. I prefer the latter as I feel more in tuned with my pedaling. If you wear MTB SPD shoes, these are great, not the lightest, good weight. They also mate & look well with my Shimano 6650 grey compact crankset. Scratches, scaring? Who cares? Not me as I don't see the pedals while riding. Besides, what pedal doesn't get scraped and gouged from cleats?

Nice Road Pedals for those of us who prefer SPDs

Let me say up front that I do not like clunking around in road shoes when I stop at a country general store or deli (or anywhere else for that matter) while out on a long ride. Shimano makes a line of 'hybrid' cycling shoes that have a slight heel, and a slight sole around the cleat (ball of your foot). They are not full soles like on mountain bike shoes, and they look like, and are, road shoes. However, you can only use SPD cleats w/ these hybrid shoes.I bought these pedals as they looked like nice platform road pedals that use SPD cleats that were intended for use w/ my Shimano shoes. I was having problems with hot spots, like others here, with traditional SPD mountain bike pedals. I haven't noticed ANY hot spots w/ these pedals at all. They have actually provided a nice stable platform for climbing..Like others here, I have noticed the scratching, but it doesn't really bother me. I agree, all pedals end up scratched, but maybe not as much as these. Most of the scratching is around where the cleat mates w/ the pedal. Shimano should look into what they could do to provide a better finish.I have had NO PROBLEMS w/ entry/exit. As a matter of fact, these are the easiest pedals I've owned to clip/unclip.Overall a great, versatile, and quality pedal (and great price on Amazon too!)

Helps forestall hot-foot

I bought these for randonneuring (an endurance cycling activity that starts at 125 miles and goes up ... way up), because I often have a problem with hot-foot. While I can't do a properly controlled experiment to be certain they are having the desired effect, they do seem to spread the pedal pressure more evenly across the foot, relative to standard two-sided SPD pedals.Regarding points others have raised:Not really Ultegra: True, it is dishonest to advertise these as ultegra. Nothing on the product or package indicates them as ultegra. (For those who don't know what this is about: Ultegra is a label Shimano uses for a line of products indicating a very high quality level, a notch above their "105" line and a notch below their "dura ace" line.)Susceptible to cosmetic damage: Yes. This doesn't matter much to me, but I do wonder what they were thinking in giving them a color that would quickly show inevitable scratches.Difficult to clip in to: No. I very quickly learned to how they hang, and the foot motion required to clip in without looking became automatic. There might be a very, very marginal disadvantage relative to dual-sided SPD, but it has not been a problem for me at all ... in fact I have less problems clipping in to these, after just a week or two, than into the Look Keo pedals that have been on my go-fast bike for years.
