Handle issues

I have this one and yes i's light but there are a few design issues that make it very annoying.The handle has only two fixed positions and seems very basic in its design. The handle wobbles rather unreassuringly within the 'sleeve'.When you have your hand on the top of the handle you can accidentally press the release button so the handle drops down when you don't want it to.The case doesn't sit flat on the ground and wobbles when you are trying to pack it.You can't easily pick up the case. It needs a handle on the top not just the side. This is incredibly annoying when you're trying to get the case out of an overhead locker or back of a car.Because it's light it doesn't roll easily on carpet even when fully loaded and can tip over when you're trying to wheel it on anything other than hard shiny floors.

Looks gorgeous - however, a few design flaws

I bought this as it was a). Gorgeous b). 40% off where I purchased it from - still making it expensive at $299.00 but an absolutely justifiable expenditure as a birthday present for myself.It wasn't until my first use that I realised it didn't have a handle at the top (bizarre!), which made it difficult for the taxi driver to put it in the trunk of his car - we both looked at it with confused expressions. Plus, to allow you to prop another bag against the handle you need to lift the elastic and attach it to the handle (was informed of this today - have had the bag for two months and had no idea what the elastic was for - if I hadn't been shopping for luggage with a girlfriend today I may never have known). Am non-plussed as to why there is no instruction manual with the bag - its extras, locking mechanism etc. are not self-evident.Other than that ..... well, it's gorgeous, weighs next to nothing and I can pack it with a weeks worth of clothing. Adore it.

Get it while you still can...

I agree with the other reviewers that it is a little strange not having a handle on the top of the case, but the pull out handle works just fine for picking up the suit case from the ground or out of the carry on area. This suitcase fits perfectly in Delta's carry on measurement box. It is light and looks great. I have three 27" spinners that have taken a ton of abuse from baggage handlers around the world. This carry on is built just like the ones that have taken abuse from the baggage handlers. Since I will be carrying this case on most of the time, I assume it'll last forever.I use the suitcase to transport a laptop, camera equipment (DSLR + lenses in cases), and other things that I don't need to access immediately. A backpack or small laptop bag is the perfect companion for this item. I highly recommend it and would buy more if I could justify it.

Awesome solo stove

I am planning a bikecamping tour w/ my doggie down the I&M canal which has primitive camping. Since everything is going to be loaded on my bike, I had to make sure the stove was compact, indestructible, and light. I am soooo glad I came upon the trangia system. It blows away the gas fuel stoves and for what you get is much cheaper too. When I first got it a few days ago, I opened it up and everything fits in the compact kit. You can even store your fuel in the stove. It's an easy set up. I made freezedried eggs and bacon and tea (the kettle is awesome) and it only took a few minutes to boil up the water and cooking was a snap. The dual wind shelters make the heat more focused and saves your fuel. The two pots give you a choice to cook and store and make something else or have two dishes..or even three if you count the fry pan. I then went home and made noodles and was able to cook up some bacon on the fry pan. The anodyzed metal makes cooking a snap. At first it would rattle after I packed it up, but found if you put a towel, and sponge in the tea kettle along with the stove, the rattling stops. The only thing is that it's pretty hard to store a utensils in there unless they're really small and fold up. I was afraid it was too big, but it's perfect for one or even 2 people. It's quite awesome solo stove!!!

The key to selecting tv is asking what you want this tv for. LCD tv's are lighter, use less energy, costs have come way down, no screen burn in to worry about. However, Plasma tv's are still cheaper, have greater viewing angles, and produce vastly better picture quality. LCD's have come a long way, but they can not reproduce the deep, rich blacks of a plasma. LCD tv's produce pictures that are bright, crisp, and sharp. Most often, you'll find LCD's displaying animated films in store demo mode. The reason is b/c animated films are supposed to be sharp and creased and bright, and are good matches for LCD's. I like films, and plasma's do a much better job displaying them. So, why should you buy this model, and not a lower model? What are the main differences? Well, this model is capable of displaying 1080P 24fps(frames per second) at 24hz(the refresh rate of the pic). What this means, is that it is a perfect match for Blu-ray. Most films are shot in 24fps 24hz. If the tv can't display that, it must Change the signal to it's natural resolution to display the film. Regular tv doesn't run at 1080P 24 fps, only Blu-Ray films. So, this tv is for serious movie buffs only who will be playing plenty of Blu-Ray films. If you only want to watch tv, or dvd, you can easily get a lower model, such as the V10. And also 3d is great and i feel better then other 2 tvs i check out which were sammy 8000 and sony.Right know Tv is down to 3900 with bundle that includes 2-3 pair of glasses 2 movies and bluray player great deal thanks 6th ave ele. Hopefully this tv will last me at least 7yrs. But once again the best tv out for under 4500 hands down.

Look no further for the best home viewing experience available in 2010

I recently experienced a household loss of our family's 50 inch HDTV we have used for the past 5 years. Our LG 50PX4DR-H was struck by lighting and was put to rest. I paid a hefty price for the LG back 5 years ago and wanted the best features and viewing experience I could get for a reasonable price. Before that, we had the Toshiba widescreen TW20F40 which was a great TV for it's time. My latest quest lead me to the Panasonic TC-P65VT25 which had the best viewing performance I could find. I reviewed the latest high-end models with LCD, LED and Plasma technology from Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, LG, Vizo and Hitachi, nothing but the plasmas were able to effectively display high speed motion without blurring. All has the latest features with widgets and some had a better implementation than others. Many had better physical dimensions with thin panels and beautiful frames, but I typically do not view content on TVs from the side or outside of the viewing area. I chose the Panasonic TC-P65VT25 for it's ability to display vibrant images and effective implementation of web-based accessible content... I was not concern with the 3D functionality, since I have a defect in my right eye which limits my site to peripheral vision. I did not expect that I could enjoy the technology since shutter glasses require viewing the content with both eyes where two images are displayed, one for the right and one for the left. As it turns out and to my surprise, I am able to enjoy the 3D content, just not as well as my family....Well, the whole intent to submit my review is that the Panasonic TC-P65VT25 was priced to be close to $5K, but went to one of the local electronics retailers who worked a deal with I got it for $2.6K which was a good deal. I had to wait a week, since these TVs were selling like crazy. If you want the best viewing experience with quality design, you can not go wrong with the Panasonic. It's a great HDTV and with a viewing area of 65 inches, your engulfed in a viewing experience that is so close to theater viewing as it comes, but from a much improved visual perspective. Check it out for yourself and you'll see....

Picture quality is startling!

Picture quality the best I have ever seen (including Pioneer). Black levels are incredible; deep, rich, beautiful colors; picture is completely noise free. 3-D works well, but not much content available.We've had our TC-PC65VT25 for 4 months. The "U2 at the Rose Bowl" concert Blu-Ray really shows off the black levels and overall video quality. We use the VT25 as a video monitor; audio is through a DTS-HD Master capable surround sound system (Onkyo TX-SR707 receiver, bi-amped PSB Image speaker system). The combined effect of the perfect picture and concert quality sound is amazing. With DirecTV, the HD picture is great - so much better than the old Panasonic plasma we replaced. We find ourselves watching bad movies just because they look so good!3-D picture quality is good, but the content is limited and the 3-D picture doesn't excite me as much as the 2-D performance. 3-D didn't add much to World Cup matches, but college football in 3-D is more compelling than the soccer.

Very good guitar

I am a novice guitar player and enjoy this guitar. Properly set up it, the intonation is very good and I like the tones I get get from it. As an acoustic player to start, I was surprise by how sensitive the guitar was to my finger pressure. It is easy to play with a light touch especially compared to acoustic guitars. I did not like the tremolo bar and decided to take it off and lock the tuning down. It is easy enough to inflect the notes by bending on the fretboard, and how much whammy bar stuff do you really need to do for most songs? It holds tune well, plays well, and for the price it is a good deal. I like the way it looks and expect it will hold up a very long time. My only complaints are that it is a sort of heavy and before the tremolo bar was removed, I had a hard time keeping it in tune.Follow up to my own review a year later: This was my first electric guitar. I have owned and played several other guitars now, and my regard for this guitar keeps growing. - That is, until I bought some custom hand wound pick-ups (Dawgtown) and put them in a MIM strat. Before then, I liked this guitar better than the MIM strat. Now, when I play this guitar I find it wanting. But then, we are talking $400 plus vs about $100-200. I was lucky to buy this guitar as my first. Pros - 24 frets, light body (not heavy like I said before - now I know better), good quality neck and tuners. Cons - pick-ups could be better; just 1 volume and 1 tone knob; tremolo not great.

Best Picture I've Ever Seen

I've owned this 58VT25 for a few weeks now. HDTV broadcasts and Blu-ray video are just amazing, not to mention the very excellent 3D seen from Direct TV broadcasts. And by the way .. There are no grayish backgrounds where one would expect black. On this TV, blacks are BLACK. Also, on mine, there isn't any, "buzz" (someone here reported hearing a buzz) or any sound other than program content regardless of how close I get to the TV. If there was, I would call Panasonic's repair service.One thing I learned early on is, don't mess with the color adjustments on this TV right off the bat; wait a few days for the TV to stabilize then adjust if you feel the need. The color realism on this TV is extraordinary. Being typically an early adapter, I've owned a few other plasma TVs. My gripe with my earlier Panasonics is .. I could never get the reds quite right (leaned toward crimson), and there always seemed to be just the slightest greenish hew. Yes .. I'm picky .. kind of a perfectionist I guess.The reason for my having owned several TVs over the recent past is because those before never seemed quite right. This one though is a keeper. If there's any gripe at all it's with watching non-HDTV broadcasts. They look great, but I think they looked even better on the TV I replaced this one with. But broadcasters are all switching over to HD so that little complaint will never cause me to continue in my early adapter ways. This one, I'm sure, will stay in my house until one of us passes away (I'm a few years into retirement).And by the way, I will edit this review if any negatives become apparent on this TV over time.

Stunning HDTV!

Having previously owned a 4 year-old Panasonic Plasma that was only 720p, this TV is truly a treat - the black levels are outstanding, THX mode for color settings provides great out-of-the-box viewing experience.As to the buzzing that others have alluded to. Plasma TVs buzz, more than LCDs, it is a known fact. Panasonic refers to their "10 foot rule" meaning that you shouldn't be able to hear the buzzing at a distance of 10 feet. Mine had a horrendous buzzing which varied in intensity based on the scene - Panasonic service had a repairman out to me in no time, and it turned out to be a bad ferrite core - something ironically meant to suppress buzzing.That issue having been promptly fixed, the picture quality is amazing, especially with a 1080p feed (pop in a BluRay DVD like Planet Earth or Life and just drool as you watch it on this TV). I have to admit I haven't tried the 3D aspects yet apart from unpacking the glasses and trying them on. They seem rather flimsy and oddly constructed (two weird interchangeable nose pieces, neither of which seem too comfortable). However, I don't care if I never use them, but admittedly I bought the TV for its other features, such as size, resolution, black levels, picture quality, etc, and it doesn't disappoint!

Great TV, 2D & 3D pictures both crisp with great color

We recently purchased the 58" Panasonic 3D HDTV. We were planning on a different unit that was not 3D. However, when we were checking them out at the electronics store they had a special on this TV that included a free Panasonic 3D bluray player with extra 3D glasses and two movies as well. Upon review we discovered that this TV was the top pic for ZD Net's 2010 Plasma TV's for 2D and 3D both so we figured we couldn't go wrong with this unit.Our previous TV was a 50 inch LG Plasma that exploded and died one night, so when considering new TV's we revisted the whole LCD vs. Plasma debate before settling on a Plasma again. I highly recommend you go into a store with multiple TV's, as there is indeed a difference in the look of the images between the technologies in addition to some weird artifact on the screens with the LCD TV's (at least to our eyes). When we were just reading about the TV's we thought for sure we'd end up with an LCD. However, once we were looking at them side by side we had no question that plasma was the right look and "feel" for us. (We compared both old style LCD and the LED LCD styles with the Plasmas)I'm not an AV expert, so I can't talk all the technical details. However, I've discovered that I'm definitely someone who appreciates the feel of film that you get with plasma over the more slick, soap opera look of the LCD screens. However, if you like very bright pictures the LCD might be right for you.All in all, suffice it to say that we love our new Panasonic plasma TV. It far out performs our old LG plasma. When shopping for it, it also seemed to out perform the other plasmas and LCD's in the big box electronics store when we assessed them side by side. (which I strongly recommend you do).If you're excited about 3D, you may want to read my short review about the 3D glasses you need when watching 3D movies. Panasonic TY EW3D10U - 3D glasses - active shutter We were disappointed to find that the fit and comfort of the glasses are terrible for those who have a more petite, narrow bridge of the nose. (Many women and children) To the point that it definitely interferes with enjoyment of watching the 3D movies.Summary: Great TV, received top rating by ZD Net for both 2D and 3D, visually the picture looked the best when compared to other plasmas and LCD's in the big box electronic store. However the 3D glasses by Panasonic offer a terrible fit, so check them out when considering 3D.

I ordered this double curtain track kit to line the walls in my movie room with. The installation wasn't too difficult. With a stud finder and a cordless drill I installed the track directly to the ceiling. The curtain sliding action feels high quality, as it should with the ball-bearing system they use.Very satisfied!

Hp Computer Stand

This stand is a perfect match for what I was looking for in a stand. I was able to integrate my HP docking station directly into the stand (locking knobs lined up perfectly) and it is awesome!!! Kudos to the engineers at Ergotron). Also, the stand's base expands to strecth out to my desirted length!!! I don't remember the product description saying that. The only challange was the stand used a 75mm mounting configuration and my monitor had a 100mm hole config or vice versa. I contacted the manufacturer and they make an adajtor that I purchased from an 3rd party. 2 trips to Ace Hardware and I was up and running!

Mom very happy with it

Gave this TV to mom for Christmas last year. She loves it. The only thing she griped about was the volume. I think it has more to do with the location and angle of the speakers. I bought her a sound bar a few months later and she's happy. Most people with normal hearing will be OK without the added sound bar.

everything i expected

I already own a Samsonite Cosmolite 32", so i decided to buy a slightly smaller on. Being lightweight, you can pack in at least an extra 2 kilograms.The luggage is great, because the luggage can turn 360 degrees, you dont have to drag your luggage like you with other ones, you can just push it or pull it beside you.But the 27" has its limits of how much you can pack. Around 23kgs the pack is bursting full and I could not pack anymore. So if you are allowed to check in higher luggage limits like 32kgs when you are flying, i recommend buying the 32" spinner.

One of the best luggage currently in the market, exteremely light;, air travel resistant, big storage capacity. The wheels seem strong enough to resist many years of travelling. The zipper seems light, no problem so far (one month of intensive use), but it looks like it could be the weak point of this item in a long-term perspective. So far, so (very) good !

Love the weight, hate the scratches

It is clear that the primary design point for this series is weight, and Samsonite delivers. There are many glowing reviews of this series that focus on this characteristic. I have only had one flight with this bag so far. Time will tell how durable it is. My main complaint is that it scratches very easily. I say again, it scratches easily. Some product descriptions mention that it has an anti-scratch coating. That is hard to believe. I understand that bags will wear when the airline gorillas get their paws on them, but this bag scratched quite a bit with just one trip in checked luggage. It is not a good sign and really unacceptable at this price point.UPDATE: I ended up exchanging this back for a more traditional (and way cheaper) soft sided edition.

May be the best amazon purchase I have made!

I work out, a lot. My wife and I are weight training and yes, my muscle feel it. This product is great. It takes a little while (1 to 1 1/2 minutes in one area) but the vibration heats the muscle and releases any tension in it. It takes a second person to help you with it, but it requires very little effort for the person assisting you. They do not need to massage you with it, it does the work for them. I would have gladly paid 2 to 3 times the price for this after feeling the results. When this one day stops working, I will buy another.

A Welcome Change of Pace

I've been an avid coffee drinker for many years, but was only exposed to the sub par blends at my office. I was recently over at a friend's place when they introduced me to Kahve's Barcelona blend--now there's no going back. This is exactly what coffee's supposed to taste like: flavorful and bold. I ordered it for myself and now I bring it in a thermos full of it to work. I'd rather microwave my lukewarm Kahve coffee than drink the weak brews I used to suffer through. It's worth every penny!
