UltraScope software allows connections of Rigol DS1000E series oscilloscope to a PC through USB or RS-232 interface under Windows 98, 2000, NT, and Windows XP
The UltraScope software provides the following control and analysis features:
Use Data Browser to display captured waveforms, data and measurements.
Use DSO Controller to control the oscilloscope locally or remotely .
Save waveform in "BMP" format.
Save data into "TXT" or "EXCEL" file format for analysis.
Print the waveforms.

Nice basic scope

Going from an old Tektronix 745 scope (circa 1972), I was amazed at the features on this scope for the price. Nice bright screen with good accuracy and intuitive controls. On screen displays for various voltage and frequency values was something I'd never used before. Perhaps it's just the contrast between my old manual scope and the new technology but i'm quite impressed. Since I only use such a device as a hobbyist, the two channels are plenty for me for 99% of my projects.
