Width Measurements

My drapes came right on time as I ordered them, packaged well, and they were as exactly as described in the ad except for one thing which I consider important:The drapes were described as 96-Inch-by-84-Inch. The standard way to measure for draperies is to include the width of the space one would like to cover PLUS a 4-Inch return from the rod back to the wall AND a 2-Inch overlap at the center for EACH of the two panels.These drapes were literally 96-Inches wide side by side with no overlap, nor any return to the wall. I didn't need the returns in this case, but I did need the overlap and to make the overlap, I have to show bare rod on each side, which is disappointing. I consider the actual size of these drapes to be 84-Inches by 84-Inches.

I was set for disappointment because the color I wanted went from sage to linen, instead I was happily surprised. These drapes are very well made and look wonderful. On the 2nd day of hanging, the wrinkles worked themselves out. Great choice.

These are beautiful and we used clip rings attached to each pleat to make them hang nicely. They hang from a decorative rod. We have gotten compliments on how professional they look. Although it took over a month to get all of them, we love them. I let the hem out about 2 inches to make them longer, and we ordered batons from another source so we can open and close them without pulling on the material. They are terrific.
