I am 47 and started wearing Serengeti at 19. I stopped in my 30's because the didn't have fashion forward, more sophisticated frames..Bianca to the rescue. I have the dark striped tortoise and they are gorgeous!! The lenses are the highest quality to protect the eyes. They are a tiny bit heavier than some other's due to the lenses being optical grade glass, but its very thin and does not bother me. If these were Dior or Dolce and Gabbana they would be 400 or more and not as great a quality...you just can't go wrong.

I Love these glasses. They are brilliant to look through - the clarity is amazing. I am so happy with the frames as well, they are gorgeous! I would not hesitate to buy the Serengeti brand again and I will be recommending them to all!

These are great for driving. I am 44 and have owned 7 pairs of Serengetis. My first pair was a gift from my Fighter Pilot boyfriend and I refuse to wear any other since I was introduced to the quality of the Italian made sunglasses. Over the years, the styles have very much improved. If you buy these, you will never buy another brand !!!Two of my past pairs were lost due to carelessness . One pair is at the bottom of a lake because I wipped out on my jetski, the other 3 weeks ago while canoeing/swimming in a river. I will no longer wear my Serengeti's while doing such activities ;-)Hope this review is helpful...
