Rocky start, getting better

Bought this instead of a Wacom tablet due to the price and the fact that I'm just "testing the water" with digital art. I really couldn't justify the price of a Wacom tablet of this size. I was a little nervous about this tablet since the were only two reviews with diametrically opposed views. Once I had the tablet in hand I found the installation instructions and manual were indeed just as bad as another reviewer stated. After installing the software, rebooting, and connecting the USB cable, the device did not work. I uninstalled and repeated the install, but with no better result. I checked the vendor website and found it sorely lacking. I sent an e-mail to their support group and wrote a bad review here on Amazon.BUT... I received a response from support the next day. Helpful instructions were included in the response, including a note to check that the mini USB plug was firmly seated into the device. Indeed I found that the plug was poorly inserted. I applied more pressure on the plug insertion than I felt comfortable with, but then found that the plug inserted solidly. I'm rather embarrassed that I was so upset about the flimsy USB cable!Since then the device has worked well. The lack of documentation or online support is a negative. It's going to take some time to learn how to use this thing. But it would probably be hard to learn to use a Wacom tablet also.

Perfect

I have got to say. I have purchased lots of items from amazon hundreds, and this hands down is the best to date. Where do i begin? I'm an artist and own my own photography business. So I have had my eye on this for some time now. Just recently it's price dropped from $245ish to $128 and change. My wife got it for me as a Christmas gift. As you can see I couldn't wait. So I opened it early. Right out the box this thing looks really nice and the quality is amazing. I had it up and running in about 15 min that's everything set hot keys and all. I have been looking at the oh so famous Wacom intous 4. Then I happened upon this Muse. Lucky wouldn't even do it justice; I really scored on this item. I spend hours on end editing photos. This Tablet is now my new best friend. It cuts my work flow down dramatically and feels perfect in my hand. It makes me enjoy editing now. I have so much control. It really opens up so many new doors as far as what I'm capable of doing with my software. My clients deserve every and anything I can do to make the product I deliver to them, to be above the standard and this my friend is what's going to get us there. If you are thinking about getting this...stop thinking and grab it. You will not be disappointed. I will follow up this review with a video review this product needs one. It's hard to find anything on it, I mean really hard. I will change that.

When I was looking up for a replacement for my Bamboo drawing pad, I managed to come across this product. I decided to get this because of the much larger reading pad size. When it arrived in the mail, I quickly opened it to find the product being better than what I have expected! There were these various of different notify buttons on the pad that you can actually program them to open up any program or use a command in a program, like the undo button in Adobe! Overall, I am very satisfied wtih the product and that it was well worth the price!
