Not for everyone
By Herman Josef
I have used one for a day. I bought two, but I'm returning the second -- it wouldn't be good where I have space. Its main advantage to me is that it frees up kitchen space. I used to have a component DVD player, a 12" TV, a DTV converter box, connecting cables and power supplies in a corner. The TDB1380B picks up all off the air analog and digital channels from my urban outdoor antenna. With my amplified indoor antenna however, it picked up many fewer digital channels than my Dish and Zinwell DTV converter boxes.I have not had an LED TV, but I have an LED computer monitor. The TDB1380B picture quality is good if you aren't more than 20 degrees from straight on, but fades quickly as the angle increases -- my monitor doesn't fade as much or so quickly. I put it on the kitchen counter and had to sit down in a chair to read the set up menu choices. It doesn't tilt up or down on its base, like my monitor. For better viewing while standing, I propped up the front of the base.Attaching an off the shelf rg-59 coax cable was quite difficult because the connector points down and is an inch from the base. The cable bent sharply and reception suffered whenever the cable moved. I ended up running a nonstandard thin coax cable to an A/B switch to avoid damaging my antenna's cable. I think the base should have been 0.5 inch taller. The on-screen menus and channel information are very small and difficult to read even from two feet away. That is a major annoyance for me.Otherwise, it is easy to set up and use. The remote is average. The DVD player works fine but I haven't used it much. Like other TV/DVD combinations I saw, the DVD slot has no cover, which may limit its life in the kitchen. I'm covering the opening with post-it notes for now.

Decent product for the price.
By Pam
Good tv for price. It has alot of features, more than what a good name brand product has and is 1/3 the price. Picture Is average audio is good, DVD is surprisingly quiet. The plastic outer shell is attractive, but flimsy. I'm not disappointed. I use this little tv every day, appx 16 hrs a day...it hasn't failed me yet. I'm a firm believer in 'you get what u pay for' ...but this one seems to be a good deal!
