Product Description
The ColorQ PRO 7-PLUS handheld professional pool photometer directly measures the seven primary tests of Free Chlorine (DPD), Total Chlorine (DPD), Bromine (DPD), pH, Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, and Cyanuric Acid directly on a digital display. The handheld meter is easy to use and features economical liquid reagents that measure 288 tests per 60 mL size bottle for Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine (Bromine), pH, Alkalinity, and Calcium Hardness. The Cyanuric Acid test is measured by using one TestTabs tablet per test with 100 tablets included with the kit. The ColorQ PRO 7-PLUS, Pool Manager Handbook, Saturation Index Calculator, testing reagents, and trilingual instructions are packaged in a rugged blow molded carrying case for on-site testing.

Made things right

This is my second review for this product. I was very disappointed with the delivery of my first LaMotte ColorQ Pro 7 PLUS kit. The kit arrived dirty and with broken tubes. I received a call from the Recreation Supply Company to discuss my review. I was really surprised that someone wanted to address my order. She was very helpful and wanted to make things right. She mailed a new LaMotte ColorQ Pro 7 PLUS kit and I returned the old kit. The new kit arrived in excellent condition. I would like to thank the Recreation Supply Company for the excellent customer service. I have renewed faith that some companies want to do the right thing.

I have owned a house with a pool for just 0ver 10 years.The 2 worst things with an outdoor pool are keeping it clean (I purchased a robotic vacuum a year ago to resolve this, HIGHLY recommended) and keeping the chemicals in balance.I hated having to "color match" the reading with the colors on the water test case over the years and it never was quite right. With the ColorQ Pro 7 I just take the sample, add the appropriate reagent and it tells me the exact reading. It is as accurate as the pool store and matchs to the sample that I take to them periodically. When I "leared" how to do the chemicals from my pool guy he told me I only needed to worry about the PH and the Free/total chlorine, I have learned otherwise since then. The ColorQ lets me test all necessary chemicals for my pool very accurate and with ease.

I've been using this for about 1 year. I've compared to the local pool supply store many times to test accuracy. Its proved to be very accurate. Ditch your test strips if your looking for easy accuracy. Also, this does both Chlorine and Bromine which is ideal.
