If you like the OEM ride quality

My vehicle had over 50K miles and the front suspension was bottoming on occasion. Upon removing the struts, I could tell they were in need of replacement in that the struts compressed fairly easily. This shock and strut kit from the Amazon partner was a very good value to get all 4 pieces for under $200, shipped. They were able to get it all to me in a single shipment and in less time than they quoted. These are original equipment replacement shocks and struts, made by KYB. They are intended to match the ride characteristics from the factory. I'm happy to have restored my vehicle's original ride quality, but this is by no means an upgrade. If you have lowered your vehicle and/or you want to have adjustable suspension (i.e., rebound, compression), look elsewhere as these are not intended for that purpose. Also, if you intend to buy the KYB boot/bump stop kits for your vehicle, take note that these appear to be universal. I wasn't at all happy with the fit. The OE boot/bump stops on my vehicle were in good shape, are far better than the seemingly universal KYB offering and I ended up not using them. To be fair, I didn't buy them through Amazon. So, if you have the tools, time and expertise, you can save a nice sum of money doing this yourself with good product from a very good Amazon partner.
