Having worn a previous Magnum model constantly for about 6 years (!) until the uppers started looking a little tired, I decided it was time to upgrade.I'm not too excited about the overall look, but I don't care. My arches are fairly poor, so the comfort and support of these boots is just what I need.I decided to try the side zipper model this time, and I think I like it. It jams a little, but I think that's just me rushing. They're still faster to do on and off than via the laces. Since I can use the zipper, I've been leaving the laces a little tighter than I used to wear them, but they're still comfortable.Did buy again -- will buy again.
