Great case -look close at the handle if that is key feature for you

I just got this model of this Speck case as it is larger than the other model which looks just like it as I wanted it to be able to fit over my ipad2 in its slim hard case with bluetooth keyboard to provide extra padding and protection. It was just what I was looking for and the size is great with no struggle to get the iPad in the case in and out of the bag. The innovative design of having a zipper on the end is a great idea and makes easy to access the device and slide it out. In short it was what I was looking for and I was relieved that it didnt have a rubbery smell to it as some reviewers encountered. This fits my needs for great padded soft inside and sleek outside extra padding and protection for the ipad2 in a another case. However, I gave it four stars instead of 5 to flag for others if you are looking for a true carrying case the design of the handle on this one may not be for you. I like it as I wanted more of a sleeve could place in another carry bag this handle appears to be just fine for pulling it in and out of a bage and carrying short distances. The handles sewing at the seams look to be tighlty sewn and th inner side of the handle has the same soft grey fleece as the interior but I could see that ifn you want to carry it around as a case by the handle, this handle may not be adequate for you and it is possible the light grey underside fleece of the handle could get dirty or dingy after a certain amount of usage.The tag says it is handwashable but since i just got it, ill be wiping it clean first before I submerge the thing. I think the measurments of this bag are better than the other model as without some kind of protective hard or other case cover, I personally would not freel my ipad was adequately protected with just a sleeve. This allows you to have both and is still slim and lightweight. my only other issues are that it arrived without any plastic protective bag and so was a bit linty which wiped right off but not what you expect when you open a new item and there is a dent which i think is from mailing and will fill out with use. I am just thrilled it doesnt smell funny and IS THE SIZE AND HAS THE FEATURES that was looking for and at a reasonable price!

I am very satisfied with this case.So far I have 2 Speck cases and both have been perfect for my needs. I would recommend these for anyone wanting a good case.

I bought this for my iPad and it is just the right size. I can even fit my iTouch in with it. Light and feels good to the touch. Just wish it had a pocket for earbuds and usb adapter.
