Works well

I upgraded from the SD-105 to this because my dog has decided he wants to run in the woods and play with the deer and the other model just would not reach far enough. This one does the trick! My only complaint is that I wish it had 1/2 steps between "nicks" because 1 number doesn't affect him and the next one up sends him yelping across the yard. Since the one time of getting the good nick, I haven't had to use it again except for the tone. I put it on him and he behaves!!

Love it. This has been a godsend for training our golden puppy. People are mislead by the intent of these products. This isn't a training tool to zap your dog nonstop until they learn something. This is a training tool that allows you to use the audible sounds for training and the low voltage shock as a last, last, last resort.Your dog wants nothing more to please you and obey your commands. This training tool isn't going to train your dog for you, you still have to put in the time and affection to work with your dog to achieve the result you want. If you have the proper intent for training your dog, you will not be disappointed with this SportHunter Remote dog Trainer.
