Perfect for home theater or stereo music, these speakers feature a one-inch panel-mounted pivoting tweeter for those higher frequencies and a woofer for lower frequencies, offering a frequency response range of 38 Hz to 22 kHz. The speakers are designed to be moisture-resistant, with the woofers constructed of polypropylene and surrounded with Butyl rubber for durability. The silk tweeter is coated with a unique elastomer for extended highs. The paintable grill lets you adjust the appearance to your decor. With a power handling of 200 watts and a sensitivity of 90 dB, the AC8W gives you the quality and value you know AudioSource for. NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I had the 3-way Audiosource in-wall speakers that needed to be replaced. After calling customer service ( which was the best customer service Ive ever spoken to) I ordered these. I was initially afraid I would lose sound spectrum going from a 3-way design to a 2-way however, the spectrum is wonderful and the sound is clean. Installation is simple and looks clean. Purchase these speakers over higher priced comparables. You will not be disappointed. Im using them as rear-surrounds with a Denon receiver. I recommend these speakers.

This is my second pair of these. Sound great, mount well. Use them in my and my wife's office. I use them in the ceiling and they work just fine.

I compared the Audiosource AC8W speakers to 3 other brands in the under 200 dollar price range. After 7 hours of spectrum analyzing and just plain old loud music testing I chose to keep the Audiosource AC8W s. Their frequency response was the flattest and the Bass response was clearly better than the other brands. Lows, mids, and highs were all equally impressive. If your looking for an 8 inch in wall speaker under 200 dollars then my advice to you is to purchase the Audiosource AC8W s. You will be impressed.
