Versatile freeride wheels designed to grip when wanted and to slide smoothly and consistently when desired, Orangatang Stimulus longboard wheels are intended for grippy, hard carving and consistent, controlled slides. Featuring wide contact patches to provide dependable grip (especially without sharp lips to dig in with), Stimulus wheels are still intended to slide, so they are noticeably narrower than a slalom/race wheel (ie. the 4 Presidents and In Heats). Refined inner and outer lip round over radii and the face shapes to dial in the flex and increase speed (by removing excess swing weight). Orangatang has created a really unique and kick-ass wheel with these freerides that will greatly expand what can be done on a skateboard. 70mm tall with a Contact patch (width of wheel in contact with ground). Slide Wheels

I bought these wheels so I could get into sliding because my otang in heats were too big and soft to slide well with. So, after a little research I bought these and I was grinning as soon as I put them on my board. I had them on my honey velocity for a while and they would grip and provide a nice slide. I recently bought an apex 37 and put theese wheels on it and it's a sliding beast! Ny friend won't ride it bcause he doesn't like sliding and the wheels will kick out in a sharp turn, but that's mainly the boards fault bc it can turn so hard. highly recommend the board or original trucks as well. they're sweet. anyway these wheels on my apex make sliding very easy so if u have a hard turning board I'd probably recommend a duro lower (the purple ones I think). overall great wheels and highly recommend. takes a while to break them in but they were still better out of the box than my in heats.
