Good product, good price

This is a GOOD product to me. Very light and small. Enough magnification for most uses. I feel that the screen on the camera is little bit small, and the picture quality is not that great. I'd rather spent some more to buy the up-graded version, Vitiny PRO-10,ViTiny Pro10 Plus Portable Digital Microscope Camera (Free Shipping in US) from Oasis Scientific which has much better picture quality and picture size. But for the money I pay, this is good product too.

Worth the extra money

I had purchased another one (a cheaper one) that had roughly the same specs. However, when it arrived it was broken. So I go t a refund, and upgraded to this one and let me tell you it is magnificent. I got it for my father who delves in electronics still, and his eye sight isn't what it used to be. Now, when he's digging around on a circuit board and he wants to know the part number, he just takes a quick snapshot (at 108x normal size) and sends it it to the manufacturer for replacement part or if he wants to build something on his own - he can take the snapshots of the necessary microcomponents and order himself. He really enjoys this - the computer interface is a bit arcane and a little difficult to get used to - but it works well once you get used to it. From right out of the box this device worked very well. I only wish it had an expandable memory card. The build in memory is only big enough for maybe 10 pics -hook it up to your computer, and you obviously have limitless pics.
