Awesome Intake!

Another great product from K&N. This intake system was easy to install on a G37 IPL. Just followed the directions and was done in less than an hour. Increased HP from 349 to 362 (verified on a dyno). Don't know whether it increased gas mileage or not because my driving habits aren't for fuel consumption. Love the looks, the sound, and I felt the power difference right away. I have always liked and used K&N products and this one did not disappoint me. Amazon price was incredible. Received it in just 3 days after ordering it on regular ground delivery.

Instructions are easy to follow

These K&N typhoon class cold air intakes are more like short ram air intake systems. The instructions are easy to follow and you will not need extra special tools. I am not very mechanically incline and usually I take stuff like this to a shop for installation, but this time I wanted to do it myself. It took me about a hour and twenty minutes to completely take off my stock intake and install the new K&N. The instructions are literally step by step with pictures. I did not run my car on a dyno or anything to see if I gained horsepower or torque. However, I have been checking my gas mileage regularly. That is one thing I can tell you this system does not do is improve gas mileage, but it should hurt it either. I am getting about the same mpg that I was initially. The biggest thing that I have noticed is the sound coming from under the hood is much improved.08 Infiniti G37 Sport

Added to my 2011 Infiniti G37-S with 11K miles on it. Install took longer than expected, but that's just my being cautious. Not difficult at all. Extremely happy with results. Undetectable under gentle/normal driving conditions, but when you (A) open the throttle more than 1/2 way or (B) exceed 3500 RPM, you will note the throaty growl that wasn't present before. Absolutely love it and it looks pretty!
