I wanted to replace the end tables in my livingroom on each side of my sofa with something that didn't take up as much room and was a little higher. These chairside tables fit the bill perfectly. I bought two of them and will probably purchase another one. They were easy to put together and were all wood. The table top is one solid piece and is quite solid. I can't stress enough how nice these tables look. They're not too light and not too dark which matches my decor perfectly.One suggestion I would make is to use wood glue when inserting the shelf brackets in the holes (done while table is turned upside down to avoid any problems when flipping table right side up).
