Perfect! I can't say enough...

First off, I only wish I had thought to even consider this option before I went and bought a whole new laptop! Then again, I was out of town for a while... But, when I mentioned to my brother that I had found a replacement keyboard on Amazon for ~$20 shipped, he seemed to give me the type of response that suggested I had just noticed that I could buy new tires for my car without having to replace the whole car!In any case, if you are at all hesitant about this product, don't be! It is an exact replacement, down to the "white" color used to label the keys.Just so anyone wondering is aware, this DOES NOT have an instruction manual. But don't be afraid! I'm no tech junkie, in the least bit, and I managed to get this thing together in just a couple of minutes.I will gladly guide anyone interested in my experience or advice. I'm not sure if there is a way to contact other users on Amazon, but I'm pretty sure if you leave a comment about my rating, I'll get an email about it. Otherwise, contact Amazon, I'm sure they'll be glad to help :)In any case, I found a lot of helpful YouTube references for similar laptops, the dv6000, which is an older model, helped me a bit, at least in getting started. It also inspired me to want to make a video to help anyone else with this product that can't find the information out there because I couldn't.So, maybe, by the time you're reading this, I'll have gone and made a YouTube "How-To" for replacing the keyboard.

The keyboard arrived in 4 days and had the glossly finish which is shown in the picture. Works as it's suppose to. Very happy with it.

Fits Perfectly

Spilled water on the keyboard of our dv6 and thought it was toast... This keyboard was inexpensive enough to risk the $ and take a chance. It works PERFECTLY! The package arrived quickly and adequately packaged. The installation was quick and painless. Very happy with the keyboard.The reason for 4 stars over 5, is that I ordered the glossy finish but received mate finish. Not a problem for me, but still not completely what I ordered.
