YET ANOTHER CASIO TRIUMPH

What a beauty! The yellow on this 7900 series watch tends toward a golden yellow rather than the lemon yellow of the 5600 and 6900 series watches. It's not as orange-ish as the photo on this site, at least according to my color-calibrated monitor, but it is quite mellower-yellower than my other yellow Casios. The time display seems slightly larger than that of a 6900 and about the same size as that of a 5600.The watch-in-a-can arrived nestled safely in its padding and fully charged. The previous time sync to Ft. Collins was October 7 and the watch was 23 seconds fast. Not bad for 5-1/2 months in solitary confinement. The function buttons are larger and easier to press than than the small, bright metal buttons on other series watches -- and infinitely easier to work than Mudman buttons. I was uncertain how I would like the plastic "shoulders" on the underside of the band, but they definitely add to positioning and comfort. The watch is, of course, extremely light weight.I'm looking forward to perusing the documentation on the moon phase and tide functions. Having my yacht go aground in the bath tub (or slamming into my rubber ducky, for that matter) hasn't been an issue up to this point, but now I'll have more than ring-around-the-tub to check high tide. I am on the Gulf of Mexico, so perhaps I'll actually venture outside to check out these features.Purchase and enjoy: one can't go wrong with Casio in general -- and this watch in particular. --Ron

I own various G-Shocks and this one is by far the best looking one. Lots of featutes, stands out but it's not too big, and you can beat the cr*p out of it with no worries. I was going to go wih the black one until I saw the yellow, and I'm happy I got this one instead.

Not What I expected

Had to have this watch in yellow (my fav color) and was ecstatic when it arrived. However less than a week after owning it 2 of the front screws fell out. Absolutely no response from the seller. Also beware of wearing dark colored clothing because it rubbed off on the watch & stained the wristband (nothing will get it off). Everything else though was perfect (water resistant, alarm , and several functions I will never use but are cool to have).
