This part fits a 2008 smart Fortwo

I contacted Behr to see if this part will fit my 2008 smart Fortwo. I am wondering if my Behr HVAC blower motor (smart's part number A4518301600; smart's old part number A4518300108) is the same as the HVAC blower motor that Behr makes for the smart 2005 Cabrio (351040641).The two motors seem the same. I look forward to your response. Thank you very much!!!Sincerely,CarolynCarolyn,A stroke of good luck here: one of our engineers contacted me and told me that the same base blower motor is used in both applications. The different part numbers are due to the different applications -- a situation that seems strange to me. Perhaps it has something to do with distributiion/ownership of Smart?
