Kettler Kiddi-o Airtire Junior is a fun trike that comes with a push bar. This push bar can be removed once kids become more confident. It's made in a 4 position Quik-Adjust straight tunnel tube frame and has an adjustable, ergonomic back seat with hand hold.

Best tricycle out there

We looked at all the options available at the local stores and several places online. This model seemed to have all the options we were looking for. The construction is amazing. The whole frame is steel and the wheels are rubber and air-filled (and quiet/smooth-riding). Out of all the toys we have bought, this one is by far the most well-made. In addition, both the down tube and seat are adjustable. At 19 months, our daughter can easily touch the pedals and I can imagine she will be able to use this until age 5 or later. The pushing handle allows easy steering and disconnects with a push button (once she is able to ride on her own). There is a moderate-sized plastic bucket in the back that can be released and dumped or removed for cleaning.This model does not have a free-wheel, so the pedals always move when the tricycle is pushed. This has actually been very helpful in teaching our younger daughter how to pedal. However, without a free-wheel, it is a little more difficult to push when she is tired/bored.Overall, I would highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a tricycle. The quality and features can not be beat.

we recently bought this for our 13 mo old daughter. she's not quite tall enough for her feet to reach the peddles but she LOVES being pushed around in it! fortunately, the bar makes it easy for us to push her around...she's ready to move on to something else before we tire out :)

Very durable product and very useable with the air tires. High quality trike - premier product. We also have a Radio Flyer and I do like the ability to steer for the little ones when they are first learning. The Kettler parent bar doesn't control the steering aspect (as easily bc you have to lift the front wheel to steer for them and the pedals go round when you're pushing them).
