This is the hard to find FD-500 Distortion Modeler from MUZA. These is a great sounding Distortion that had gotten a very good buzz and word of mouth and then became very hard to attain.... until now.
I have a few of these great units (brand new) that I am offering here for my customers.
MUZA's FD500 is a storable version of the earlier FD50/55. A digital modeling guitar distortion stomp pedal contains 10 well-known guitar distortion tones and models that can be adjusted and blended... very cool.

Many sounds in one box

OK, so you want some kind of noisy box for your rig, and this one's among the cheapest. Here's the deal:Mostly I find this to be handy pedal to bring to jams if I'm not sure what I'll need, instead of bringing five (or more) pedals & switching them out (for the same reason, I also bought the MUZA "Modulation Effects" pedal). The righthand knob lets you choose one of 15 different distortion sounds. You then have the shaping controls that go with that particular box -- if the original had only three controls, then you've got those three [the remaining knobs do nothing]; if it had five, you've got five.Does it really sound like a Tube Screamer, a Metal Zone, an OCD, a DS-1, a Proco Rat, a Big Muff [etc etc]? Well it certainly sounds *something* like all those ... I can't compare directly because I don't have all the pedals this claims to emulate, but it does come in handy for tonal variety. Like other bargain pedals, it is a little noisy . . . but then, this is a *distortion* pedal, so I hardly expect it to be quiet.Hardware: I have yet to have any issues of dependability, and I *love* the bypass switch -- very easy to step on/off, where most pedals take a firm step. Note: the MUZA metal box is slightly larger than Boss pedals. I mention this because my board is routed, and I had to expand a couple slots slightly for the MUZA pedals.Final word: heck of a bargain for the price, and I don't regret buying this even though I'd already bought at least four of the pedals it emulates.
