5Good quality
By Happy Shopping
The person that gave these two stars is comparing them to a $1000 ANR headset. What an idiot. They are fully adjustable, unless you have an abnormally large alien head. These are very good quality and fit well.

5A very fine general aviation headset
By Maxwell Johnson
This is David Clark's top of the line passive noise reduction boomset. I used these for years when I was flying general aviation aircraft but I purchased this one for amateur radio. It takes a bit of doing to get the headset to work with a typical amateur transceiver. A simple, homebuilt impedance-matching adapter allowed me to connect the U-174 mic plug to a standard Foster 8-pin connector. You may need a headphone amp to get sufficient audio gain--depends on the audio output of your receiver. I use a PreSonus HP4.Now, that might sound like a lot of trouble just to use an aviation headset with the transceiver on your desk. Trust me, it is worth it. This is hands-down the most comfortable, durable, reliable boomset made. If you take a moment to adjust it properly, you can wear it for hours without fatigue.Once in a while, I've run across users who find the David Clark headsets uncomfortable. In every instance, the headset simply needed to be adjusted. Alas, many people think that the only adjustment possible is the length of the headband.Heil boomsets, the favorite of many hams, pale by comparison. The noise reduction is phenomenal. DC claims 23dB and I would guess it is a good bit higher than that. The sound quality is excellent, both from the mic and the ear speakers. In addition, David Clark has a spotless reputation for customer service second to none. And, hams, if you fly you can plug the same headset into your aircraft and away you go.

4DC H10-60 is a good option
By Elijah Lewis
The David Clark H10-60 is an excellent option for those willing to spend the $300ish on a new headset (purchased mine for $250 used). For a new pilot of only two months its perfect. Comfortable, not too much weight on the neck, breathable for the ears with the cloth covers. (not sure if those are standard or are an extra deal) Sound quality is superb, and microphone picks up just about everything if positioned right. Only quibble would have to be the adjustment setup for the head size. It't not a big deal, but I can't seem to set the size, so as I put on the headset I have to fudge with it a bit to get it just right at the start of every flight. Not a big deal for most people, but when you're paying for the plane by the hour every bit of speed helps. As with every David Clark quality is for sure. Consider this headset as an option when looking over any other make or model.
