Tour Grade Guitar Case

Upon arrival, the case was much more sturdy than I imagined and protected my classical guitar very well during a more than 24 hour journey to the USA mainland from the Marshall Islands. I was able to gate-check it for each flight leg.The only glitch in the product itself was that one of the D-ring fasteners used to attach the straps so it could be carried on the back did not work. When I tried to fix it, it broke. Fortunately, I was able to replace it with a D-ring fastener I had and after re-sewing the new fastener onto the strap, it worked without problems. I expect to get many years of good use from this case.

Just Got This Case 2 Days Ago!

Just got this case and have been using it for my new Acoustic Classical Guitar (The Great Divide). It is very light and because I am a drummer first, I appreciate the light, yet sturdy construction and large front pocket and hidden inside pocket for picks, straps, or kapo. It comes with 2 straps that you can hook onto the back to carry this case like a backpack. The expert at the music store I purchased it from recommended it when I told him that I wanted a smaller guitar and the guitar is very lightweight so this case is just great! I bought my first set of drums and both guitars (The other is an electric) from this same expert at the music store and he said that this is enough for a giging musician and I agree. He has 30 years experience in the industry and professional musicians go to this store.Here is my experience; I went from a larger drum kit to a smaller one because carrying heavy things to gigs is not fun, so I appreciate that this has the qualities of both light weight and protection. It is more sturdy than all of my drum cases and none of my drums has ever been damaged using just nylon soft sided bags. The only bummer is that I can't put stickers on the outside of it, though I do have a gig case for all my drum things so I will be ok! I was shocked when he brought me this case as I expected a traditional hard shell case, because I asked for a hard shell case. He sold me on this by saying it is lightweight and still sturdy.It has the soft, plush faux fur inside that traditional hard shell cases have, yet it is solid like a hard case without the bulky weight. The outside is like the nylon denier found on duffel bags. Because this case is more sturdy and also light it is just so easy to carry around and I weight 100 pounds so whatever the size of guitar bag you buy it will be light. If you are a smaller person, I'm about 5'2 and the case fits in my hands and on my back with no problem. I'm sure they make larger ones for dreadnaughts/oversized guitars - this case is totally worth the money and I purchased it for the same amount listed online here.
