Effective, Light and Stylish

As a programmer and technophile I am in front of a screen (or multiple screens) for nearly all waking hours. I have 20/20 vision but on nights when I am hacking away for over 12 hours straight, I started noticing my eyes would dry out and even start twitching from the eye strain.I picked up a pair of these during a sale and have decided it was the best money I've ever spent. I can't compare these to other products, but I would say if you are in the market for a pair of computer glasses, and aren't on a shoestring budget, I highly recommend these. They are incredibly lightweight so you forget you are wearing them. I'm a fan of the minimal frames as they don't obstruct your vision in any way, and do not draw attention to them.They have a very very slight magnification (+0.2) which I was afraid would be a dealbreaker, but it only took about 10 minutes of use to adjust. And taking them off you don't have to readjust or anything since it is such a small amount. I imagine some people won't even notice, but it does make reading text on the screen slightly easier.At first I was apprehensive of the yellow tint to the glasses (which help make screen contents clearer by removing certain color frequencies) but I could never go back now. In fact when I take them off I am surprised by the effectiveness of the clarity they provide.There only downside to these lenses that buyers should be aware of: if you are a graphic designer these would not work well because the yellow tint does affect color (obviously). I didn't reduce the rating because otherwise the clarity would not be nearly as effective (which was a huge part of my high rating).

I have perfect vision, but even then staring at a computer screen, under the harsh lighting of office fluorescents can lead to eye strain which over the long term can damage the eyes. I did not want that so under the advice of my eye doctor, I picked up a pair of these stylish but effective computer glasses. I have had them for only a week when I noticed that my eyes were no longer hurting after a days worth of computer use. No more of that nasty watering feeling, the itchiness, the constant rubbing of tired sore eyes, and no more use of Visine constantly. With its anti-glare and blue wavelength filtering lenses I can see my LCD screen crisp and clear, and I can use the computer all day long knowing that my eyes are safe and Im not miserable at the end of the day. WE do so much to protect our eyes from the glaring sun, we should do no less when we are inside. For anyone that sits in front of a computer all day and suffer from eye strain, then these are for you.
