5The best sounding stage piano I have ever played with real wood keyboard
By Mike
I have owned many keyboards over the years, and felt compelled to write a review about how happy I have been with the CP5. I owned a Roland 700 NX which is a quality piano as well. The CP5 is a little more complicated to learn, but I prefer the quality of the piano and instrument sounds on this keyboard. I also like the wooden keys with synthetic ivory tops- the same as Yamaha's high end grand pianos. When reading reviews, I noticed several professionals who said it has an incredible feel and connection to the instrument, and I agree. I use my CP 5 with a Tyros 4 on top, and they are both incredible. I can't imagine how they could improve the sound of this keyboard to be any better- just make sure you play it through a quality system and you will wonder why you didn't buy it sooner!

4excellent as stage piano, but a few extras missing for no reason
By eudoxos
The CP5 has the best keyboard I've ever played. It feels like a grand with lighter touch, and the dynamics response is excellent (especially compared to Yamaha P-140 I had before, where it is much harder to play soft, and the touch feels plastic).Things I am missing might be considered as unneeded for on-stage performance, but would be very neat for home studio/practice. The first two would not need any extra circuitry, so would not add to the price much:* metronome (it has a choice of drums backing tracks, but a one-press metronome would be good)* support for GM banks - stuffing a normal GM MIDI song into the piano does not even resemble how it should sound.* the MIC input could be optionally stereo, for playing along.

5This is a must have Keyboard
By Ken
JUST like a real piano for serious folks taking lessons or switching to real accustic pianos at their lesson etc. Tons of features and sounds / feels amazing. Get one now while you still can. You will not be dissappointed. The keyboard manager of guitar center recommended this model over everything in his showroom.
