Powerful multi-use light

I purchased this light after a dive buddy brought his along on a night dive. Typical of the Puget Sound we were in 15-20ft visibility; coupled with darkness it's not all that easy to keep your buddy in your sights. The PowerFlare made it a non-issue. My buddy was able to move over 20ft away and I could still see the orange and white LED's flashing away. Ever since I've dove with the PowerFlare in dark and/or poor vis conditions. If more than one of us is carrying our PowerFlare we choose different flash settings making it easier to spot your buddy from the crowd.Have also found it a very handy device to have on motorcycle trips. Got stuck in the rain in the dark heading from a small Western Oregon town to another on a stretch of road with no lighting. Used the PowerFlare to provide extra visibility for motorists. Had a cager stop behind me at a gas station and comment on how bright the light was and how much easier it was to see me and my riding buddy. Double-score for the PowerFlare.The outer plastic housing makes this thing darn near indestructible. The battery lasts though a couple dozen dives and is easy as using the provided hex-key to replace.I'll be buying my dad a set for Christmas. Well worth the cost for a device that can be utilized in multiple situations.

This is an outstanding product. I use it for my bike. I bike at night or the early am. I use 4-5 led flashlights and the brightest on strobe and still had people cut me off, run in front of me, even almost hit from behind.I put this on strobe and people was looking at me. I felt safer. These jackasses saw me. Where before I blend into the night. This product is small enough to carry on my bike with no problems. It does get attention when I need it.I don't blend into the dark and get people's attention while riding.I highly recommend the Power Flare

I ride a three wheeled trike. Down low I want to be seen. This safety light does the trick. I bought these for my kids and grandkids where cost of these lights is not an issue.
