Amazing paint finish, great LED colour ...

I received this torch from the other supplier and in 'Sand' finish. Paint finish, mate, is unlike anything out there, so beautiful.Clip is mounted with 2 Torx screws yet flashlight was shipped with one mini hexagonal screwdriver that just makes things more complicated to mount onto the flashlight. I almost destroyed screws since wholes on the clip weren't properly drilled. Honestly, I was not even expecting that mini screwdriver.Pros:- Size, paint and machining is amazingly well done and balanced- LED color is CW and without rings ... perfect, just to my liking- 'Intensity' wheel is nice albeit a bit loose so it turns around easily- Nicely 'put aside' useless strobe mode- Clip is nice- 'Sand' color makes this torch stand out of the crowd- Good fwd switchCons:- there is no reference point for intensity on the wheel so you can only guess what level you are on- cannot tail stand- you need to 'expand' a bit the Clip when you replace the battery otherwise you will scratch the paint- Wheel could have been made stifferProbably the coolest flashlight out there. If money is not a problem just buy it.

Small, BRIGHT, versatile and pricey

This is the smallest, most expensive and most light per oz LED tool I own. And this is from a SINGLE CR123 battery! Did I mention that it is the easiest to set light level AND strobe function?Others require some kind of clicking sequence and wait states between clicks. This little thing has an adjustment ring that is forward of the natural area to grip with the fingers. Simply turning that ring allows CONTINUOUS output adjustment. That is until you hit zero output. Then one more click and the strobe starts. Very easy, very predictable.This light does feature the R5 level of LED technology, hence the high lumens off a single CR123 battery.This would easily qualify for FIVE STARS if it cost less than $100!Maybe next year?
