Battle of the Bulge. 24DEC1944? Try 17FEB2013---Lord, why do I keep doing this to myself? All you can eat at the Hungry Heffer and I feel like a beached whale. No, these are SAFARI Pants or, to be more precise, Kenya Convertables. I L-O-V-E these pants. When you fly to another country, why pack a pair of swimming trunks or walking shorts or gym shorts when you simply "Unzip your pants and let it all hang out" (I meant the leg zippers, buddy!!!). Everyone makes 'Kenya Convertables' but only NORTH FACE does it GOODER (Gooder, ADV. Better than good---you know; Like a 'Do-Gooder'!!!) with double stitched gassettes and seems, mesh pockets and ballistic grade broadcloth. I was knocked off my bike at 28mph onto the sidewalk and all that happened was I tore a small hole in the upper left cargo pocket. I adore these pants better than REI, Columbia etc. Accept no substitutes!!!
