Product Description
Achieve the smooth pans that are littered in every motion picture. Set the bar for your wedding/special event video's to achieve the higher rates you want. Motion Slider 36 is an inexpensive slider built from all aluminum construction and uses linear bearings for a smooth glide. 36" in total length, Motion Slider 36 can be used on any flat surface or mounted to a tripod base or head via 1/4" or 3/8" holes on the bottom of the rail. Camera's can be mounted directly to the top plate via 1/4" or 3/8" holes (includes 1/4" mounting screw) or attach your own fluid head allowing you to add a variety of shots. Weight is 8 lbs not including your camera. Camera is not included. Works well with HDSLR's and camera's up to 10 lbs.

Slider heaven

I've used 4 brands of sliders - from movie set $5000+ price tag units to home made jobs. In comparison to my experiences, this slider is great. Reasonable price with ALL of the functionality of any of the high price, non-servo sliders. I mention non-servo because there are some motor drive or crank drive units out there that you can find for a lot more money but the you have to ask yourself, "is my hand really that unsteady that I can't push a slider?"So, I got it yesterday and I used it for 2 hours immediately. It is a stiff motion - not that its not smooth but you can't just push it and have it roll on its own. I consider this a plus. I want to control the speed and accuracy of my shot. I can ramp up speed or slow down at my will and not that of an over greased rail. I very much appreciate this unit.Also, the seller is a man of few words but super helpful. I needed this for a shoot today and his assistance with shipping and tracking was very helpful.

Smooth Like Butta!!!....(BUT READ BEFORE BUYING)

Here's the break down of this , i recently ordered this motion slider and right out the box i was happy the length is cool and the smoothness right out the box is incredible , if i practice at it my shots will be even smoother than the last test shotsWhen you set it on a flat surface of any sorts it moves really smooth as well! the weight is very solid its a little heavy and is definitely made out of solid materials (nothing cheap feeling about this)(Heres The Thing you need to know before you buy this)If you have a cheap Tripod and your trying to mount this to it, its not happening! due to the weight that this thing hasas soon as you slide it to the left or the right it will Teeter Totter Over on the tripod, Meaning it will unbalance itself every time! kinda like a Se-Saw instead of being Flat!so what i had to do was buy a Fancier Tripod On Ebay with a Flat Level fluid head and it worked Perfect! The price by the way on that was about 130.00The only This is i wish it came with some type of Case because when you store this thing its really bulky and i dont wanna risk letting it get damaged or dirt getting inside the rails ,

I agree with the previous 5 star rating, this slider is great. I too have used professional grade sliders, and in the end, the shot is really the same. It's all about controlling your movement. While using this slider, its easy to go too fast, but you can certainly pull off good dolly shots with practice.
