The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States. Founded in 1863 by John A. Frye, a well-to-do shoemaker from England, and family-run until 1945, Frye products have a long and illustrious history. Great boot for normal size calves

This is a lovely boot and found that it runs very true to size. I felt instantly skinny wearing it, as it had an immediate slenderizing effect due to the shaft width and the heel height. The tapering point of the toe is just right an on trend. There was no heel slippage or uncomfortable aspect of the boot, other than the leather on top of the toes feels a bit stiff on day one, but breaks in quickly. I love a good wedge boot, and the heel height on this one is fantastic for walking all day without pain. I think the shaft of the boot is in proportion to an average leg. If you have a bigger calf, this one may still work, but require some work and perhaps some breaking in before you would easily be able to slip it over anything thicker than tights. The tradeoff is a slimming and leg lengthening look.

The BEST boot!!

I purchase this boot 2 years ago and i have to say this is definitely the best boot amoung all myother boots. the leather is so soft, and it's comfortable and most important it makes my calf looks slim.it goes well with a skinny jeans or dresses. highly recommended!!

A cool wedge boot with a sleek design does not compromise comfort! True to fit, slipped them on soon after receiving them & they felt as if I had worn them for years. Initially, I had some reservations about purchasing a pull-on boot thinking that the shaft would be too wide but this one proved to be well designed with a slim look. A definite must have!
