Great, except for cats.

I am not the only person I know that has these, and everyone I know likes the ones they have. We ourselves have had only one problem with the encasements.They seem to do their job, and they're relatively easy to install, for what they are. You will need two people, and it can be a little cumbersome to put them on-- but we didn't have to tug or anything, they came on fairly easily between the two of us. I've heard of these ripping on installation, but we didn't have that problem. Just be careful, and I would think it fairly easy to avoid.We don't lay on them directly, but the encasements are made of a breathable cloth, and don't change the comfort of the bed.I put it at four stars because of one problem that is both somewhat obvious and also not inherent of the product itself. We have cats, one of which is very young and is still figuring out claws and climbing and such. She has put holes in the box spring section of the encasements at least. That said, a friend of ours has these same encasements and two older cats, and they haven't had this problem. It's just something to keep in mind if you do have cats- these are not cat proof. It may never be a problem, or you may need to banish your kitties from the room for the survival of your encasements.
