Product Description
The Receptor Plus was developed for multidisciplinary activities for people who are tired of storing various helmets around their home. The Receptor+ is designed for use on snow, bike, skateboard, or in water and has been certified by the appropriate authorities for all three respective environments. To keep you warm during winter sports, the helmet uses padding inserts, which can be removed in the summer for full ventilation. The trickiest challenge in developing the helmet was to meet the diverse certification requirements of various sports. By utilizing POC's patent-pending ballistic Aramid penetration barrier, merging the two technologies of in-mold helmets and traditional hard-shell helmets, and using a unique double-shell system (VDSAP), we succeeded. Another requirement was to ensure that when used in water, the liner would not soak up the liquid and become heavy and thereby less effective. To overcome this, we use expanded polypropylene, which is able to withstand multiple impacts and guarantees that the helmet will retain the same weight regardless of where it is worn.

great helmet, going above and beyond the standard with a duel impact foam and 2 layer system for the shell. i would asume it is great for all the sports it is intended but it is my snowboard helmet right now. i have found nothing at all wrong with it, although i hav't taken any heavy hits, and would recommend it to anyone.

It is a really good helmet, i have a big head and the XL size feat perfectly.The only issue is you cannot control the ventilation and when you start to sweat a lot some fresh air would be welcome.But really good
