Great addition to my christmas village

All of the pieces that I got from amazon for the department 56 Disney Christmas Village are very cute. This building is very pretty and colorful. I like this particular collection because of the bright colors; it's very different from the dickens village and the like. Amazon had by far the best price on this piece as well as many others when I bought it in November 2011.

mickey's castle slightly barren (no pun intended)

This product is amazing. Great paint detail, not all over the place or just slapped on. not nearly enough references to disney and mickey, just one set of ears on the front of building to left of door. It is very beautiful though and the detailing of the buildings features are exquisite. Sparkles have almost fully faded or flaked off in only 3 days of having it.. Not made of plastic....that made me happy, but there were a lot of place that could chip off or be lost through the years, definitely will have super glue or mighty putty on hand here. Only other thought is that the specific accessory (in this case, Department 56 Disney Village Accessory Figurines,) should be included, at least one (and there are about 6 that could potentially accent this piece). Even if it cost and extra few bucks, it should come with the accessories. but other than that I will treasure this addition.

I love, love, love this. I ordered this for my daughter-in-laws birthday. It is very cute and looks darling with theMickey/Minney figurine.
