The Best

Years ago Quaker had something called Hearty Oatmeal, made for the microwave. It was the closest thing to stovetop, long cooked oatmeal, great flavor and hearty texture. I searched for a long time for a replacement and luckily found McCann's Because I prefer to dress up my own oatmeal, I prefer the plain...and I have to admit I'm not crazy about some of their pre-packaged flavors, which are what is available locally. Amazon to the rescue! This oatmeal is hearty, has great texture and flavor and stands up to lots of add-ins. I think it's best made with milk and, at least in my microwave, heating it for 1.50 minutes on high is perfect.

All other instant oatmeals can't compare - this stuff is by far the best! Wish amazon still offered it at the lower price though!The non-instant oatmeal is even better too!
