They work... what more can you say?
By C. Clark
Purchased two pairs of these as an upgrade to one of the servers in my office (Dell PowerEdge T110). Upgraded from 4GB to 16GB and took the server from "slow drag" mode to fast again in about 5 minutes time (that's how long it took to power down, remove the cover, old DIMMs, insert new DIMMs, replace cover, power up). There's not a whole lot that can be said about these other than the fact that they match the requirements for the server (240-pin DIMM, DDR3-1333, Unbuffered, ECC), and they work. The server recognized all 16GB, and recognized that they're DDR3-1333 (or rather, PC3-10600).Packaging is pretty much standard. Each DIMM is in its own individual plastic clamshell, and both clamshells are surrounded by a cardboard wrapper to hold them together.Best I can tell, these are priced substantially lower than if you ordered them directly from Crucial. So, they work, and they're lower in price than pretty much anywhere else you look. It's a win.

It's ram, it works...
By Nes
The ram works! no problems... though for some reason it did not want to fit nicely in the ram slot... had to use far more force than I'm used to, to get it to seat.

Works as expected
By Kyle Lanclos
Crucial part # CT2KIT51272BA1339 is the same part as # CT1508549 for the HP Proliant Microserver N40L and # CT3171921 for the Fujitsu Primergy MX 130 S2. I bought one pair of DIMMs, and am using them without issue in my Fujitsu system. You save 20% by buying the "generic" part number instead of the "guaranteed compatible" part number directly from Crucial.
